Frequently Asked Questions
Is dog boarding stressful for dogs?
At Kip, our mission is to ensure your pet is as happy and comfortable as possible during their stay. Animals of all shapes and sizes can make use of Kip’s space, with room for both cats and dogs to enjoy a balance of social play and downtime. We find all pets settle in quickly and will feel right at home. Our staff are experienced dog handlers and know how to keep dogs away from stressful situations, helping them ease into the Kip experience.
What does Kip’s dog boarding include?
Every Kip pet boarding experience comes with nutritious food, a well-ventilated and spacious room with private spaces as well as a secure indoor and outdoor space for your dog to explore. Dogs can have social time with the other dogs but are also split up when necessary to have their beneficial rest time.
Every Central Coast dog gets pampered with a hydro bath and blow-dry as they leave, getting them clean, fluffy, and relaxed for when they arrive home. Plus, there are lots of extra amenities you can add to their stay to keep them content whilst you are away; contact us to find out more!
Will I get a discount for additional dogs?
Definitely! We welcome pet siblings at Kip Central Coast. Dogs from the same family receive a discount for accommodation when they share a room.
How much does dog boarding on the Central Coast cost?
The price for keeping your pets with Kip firstly depends on the animal you wish for us to take care of. For dogs, boarding starts at $43 per day, whereas for cats, it’s $26. From this, you can add on extra activities, more treats, or even upgrade the size of the room. My pet needs medication, can you administer it?
All dogs will be well looked after during their stay at Kip. If your dog requires special medication, each member of our team is experienced in administering medication for dogs.
Simply pack their medication in a well-labelled container and let our helpful team know how frequently it needs to be delivered. We charge $5/day to prepare and administer medication for all dogs under our care. We’ll carefully care for and administer your dog’s medication to your specifications.
Can I inspect the facility before I book my pet in?
Of course! If you’re interested in how Kip’s dog boarding Central Coast centre operates, you are more than welcome to come in and meet our team to see if the facility is suitable for your dog. We love the space we have created for our four-legged friends and know your dog will love every minute here. Please contact a member of our team to organise an inspection during our opening hours.
