Cat Boarding Sydney

Looking for a cattery in Sydney with a little more room to roam? Kip welcomes Sydney cats to our purpose-built cat boarding in the Hunter Valley and Lake Macquarie, around a 1.5–2-hour drive from the city.

The short scenic drive trades the city squeeze for more space, quieter surrounds and a calmer catmosphere. Inside, private climate-controlled rooms, perch-perfect spaces and experienced carers make for resort-style cat care that’s cosy, comfortable and big on purrks.

Areas We Service

Why Sydney Cat Owners Choose Kip Cat Boarding

For cats, the little things are rather big things: somewhere private to retreat, steady temperatures, regular meals and time to settle at their own pace. Kip’s purpose-built catteries in Sydney pair private climate-controlled rooms with trained carers handling meals, cleaning, health checks and daily routines, plus a company vet on staff.

Choosing Kip also comes with a clearer view of what’s happening while you’re apart. Regular updates keep Sydney pet parents connected, and if the drive north doesn’t suit your plans, Kip’s Pet Transport service can help get your cat to one of our locations and home again.

Behind each cat boarding stay is the experience of the wider Kip network. Resort-style facilities, dedicated teams and consistent care standards carry across locations, with the reassurance of an established national operator rather than a single-site setup. More than 100,000 pets have stayed with Kip, with 4000+ five-star reviews from happy pet parents around the country.

Cat Boarding Sydney Pricing

Cat boarding Sydney prices come down to the pawticulars of each stay: which room you book, how many nights your cat is checking in for, the time of year and any add-ons you choose. For the most up-to-date rates, check the pricing on each Kip location card.

Want to add something a little more purrsonal? Medication administration, food from home and extra enrichment can all be added for a small daily fee, so you can shape the booking around what your kitty needs.

Sydney Suburbs We Serve

Kip welcomes cats from all across Sydney, with the Hunter Valley and Lake Macquarie making especially handy cat boarding options for pet parents heading north from the city. If you’d rather skip the road trip altogether, Kip Pet Transport can take care of the transfer, making sure your favourite feline travels furr-st class all the way.

  • Inner West: Looking for cat boarding in Sydney’s Inner West? From Glebe to Newtown, Balmain and beyond, Sydney cats can trade city bustle for a roomier regional stay.
  • Northern Beaches: From Manly to Mona Vale, Northern Beaches cats can head north for purpose-built boarding, more room to roam and a whole new catmosphere.

Our cat Luna has stayed at Kip 3 times. Luna was collected by a lovely person who asked if my cat would be more comfortable at the front with her (driver) or the back. I thought this was very thoughtful and honestly above and beyond what I expected from the collection. Everyday we receive a video at no extra charge, it’s beautiful touch and makes being away from her easier.

What an amazing team and facility. We recently found ourselves relocating homes and had to put our old cat Oliver into Kip Hunter Valley for a while. He’s spent time in several catteries before but NEVER have we had such wonderful communication, daily videos of him being loved and such kind staff. Keep doing what you’re doing team … you guys ROCK

Samantha L.

Our cat and dog were loved, cuddled, walked, played with and cared for. Watching the videos they sent, I thought they might not want to come home! Pick up and drop off were on time - which is so important when travelling, and communication was fabulous. Will use again and again.

Our cat Meow has always received excellent care and is happy when he is there. We receive daily updates and videos that we love to watch and can see how much the staff care about our cat and the extra efforts they go to to settle him in and occupy him. We cannot thank the staff enough for their above and beyond care

We just picked up our cat from KIP Hunter Valley. She was so calm and happy. The video updates kept us as ease knowing she was happy and getting some love and attention as well as time out of the enclosure. Our old girl is fussy, grumpy and needy but the staff were so genuinely kind and caring as well as professional. We witnessed a lovely dog being picked up and he also seemed so happy and loved the staff! We hope we can be organised enough to book in again next time we are away! Recommend 100%

My cat Raymond has stayed twice and am so happy with the level of care provided by Kip Lake Macquarie team

Linda S.

What I love the most is the little outdoor area he has access to from his cat enclosure. It enables him to enjoy the outdoors but safely.

Gee D.

Our girls (dog and kitty cat) have stayed at Kip Lake Macquarie a few times, most recently for 4 weeks during April/May. They were both really well cared for and given lots of individual attention and cuddles. Daily videos received on our email were a great way of letting us know they were okay and allayed our fears that they might miss us.

Johanna G.

First time leaving my ragdoll cat with Kip. Really enjoyed the daily videos they sent me to show he was ok. The team also made the effort to contact me about my cats appetite as they were concerned about his health. It showed they really care for animals. Totally recommend and will be returning.
