Dog grooming pricing depends on a few factors: weight, type of grooming service and the condition of their coat. For the most accurate quote, contact us directly.
The duration of your groom will depend on the type of grooming service you booked and the size of your dog. Generally, a full groom for a small dog will be around 1.5 hours.
Our requirements for dog grooming is as follows:
- Vaccination Requirement: Your pet must be vaccinated, and the vaccination must be valid for the entire duration of your pet's stay.
- Puppies may attend daycare 10 days after their second puppy vaccine as long as they are C5 or equivalent.
- Dogs must have an up-to-date C5 (or equivalent) vaccination.
- Your dog’s flea and tick treatment must also be up to date.
- 10-Day Rule: If your pet's previous vaccination had lapsed by more than 14 days, the new vaccine must be administered at least 10 days before the check-in date.
- Vaccination Documentation: You are required to provide us with evidence of your pet's current (and immediate prior vaccination if checking in with 10 days of their most recent vaccination)
For the safety of all other dogs in our care, we do also require you to meet our desexing requirements. These may vary by state, so feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
A good rule of paw is every 6–8 weeks to keep your dog's coat tidy, comfy, and in good nick. Some breeds need more regular grooming, and others can stretch things out a bit, so chat to our team to help find the right routine for your precious pooch.
We’d suggest treating your puppy to their full grooming session around 6 months of age. However, it’s wise to start them off with small grooming sessions like a tidy-up at 10-12 weeks old, as soon as they’ve received their second vaccination. The earlier your puppy feels relaxed and comfortable being groomed, the easier the process will be in the long term.
Absolutely! Regular grooming is beneficial for dogs who suffer from anxiety or are a little nervous, as it can help them to become familiar with the process. It’s important to note that it may take several grooms before they’re full comfortable and will allow our groomers to give them a full groom. We will inform you of this and provide feedback on how to make grooming a positive experience for your dog.
Yes, and it’s a brilliant option. Drop them off in the morning, then look forward to picking up one clean, tired, nicely spruced-up dog at the end of the day. Just make sure dog grooming is booked in advance or added on when you make your daycare booking.
