Board & Train: Our exclusive Board & Train Program is for those dogs that need a little extra help and attention. Our trainers work with dogs that need to learn basic or advanced obedience, dogs that have specific behavioural problems and difficult dogs.

Daycare & Train: Can't commit to a long training program? Try our Daycare & Train Program. Drop your dog off in the morning and our team of professional trainers can complete multiple training and stimulation sessions with your dog.

Board & Train

Kip Homestead Yarra Valley offers an industry recognised Board & Train Program which ensures building a cohesive relationship between you and your dog.

The program is designed for those looking for dog training in Melbourne, and can help with many challenging behaviours including:

The program encourages you to learn as your pooch learns to enable you both to develop great life-long habits. With our exclusive Daycare & Train Program, you can drop your dog off at our Kip Homestead Yarra Valley location at 8:30am and collect them at 4:30pm.

Will my dog obey me when it comes home?

Throughout your dog’s board and train program, we will train your dog multiple times each day. At the conclusion, we will conduct a hand-over lesson to make sure you know how to control and maintain your dog’s behaviour once they return home.

My dog has already been through a board and train program; can he have Refresher Training when boarding next time?

Certainly, many owners take the opportunity to have refresher training for their dog during their next stay.

What if my dog displays challenging behaviours?

If your dog displays challenging behaviours or regularly causes you trouble, Kip encourages you to engage in dog training. Dog training can help with problematic behaviours such as pulling on the leash, reacting to other dogs, jumping on others, and having selective hearing.
