Is your dog ready to join the daycare fun?
You need to attend a First Day Trial before coming more regularly!
We want to ensure your pup gets started on the right paw when they join the Kip family. That’s why all dogs do a first-day trial to see whether the daycare environment suits them. On this first-day trial, we encourage you to arrive before 9:00am to give your dog the best chance of success. We will give you an update throughout the day, and at pick-up, you will receive a report card, and the team will discuss a recommended attendance plan. You will also need to be available for an earlier pick-up should our staff deem that daycare is not suitable for your dog.

To attend daycare your dog will need to be vaccinated (to C5 or above) and desexed if over 12 months. Dogs can attend their First Day Trial 10 days after their second vaccination (C5 or equivalent).

KIP is fantastic for his socialisation and the weekly activities are wonderful. I go to work with my mind at ease that he is in good care and having fun. Wally loves kip thomastown he has been going since he was a little puppy! All staff are amazing with him and have taught him lots of good habits and it’s amazing seeing all the videos and photos of his day We would highly recommend Kip Thomastown to everyone
My Honey absolutely loves her day care days and is super excited everytime we walk in the door. The staff are incredibly kind and patient, and go out of their way to greet each dog parent with a smile and warmth. The daily update via email and the instagram highlight reels just adds to the excitment and I truly appreciate these little glimpses into Honey's fun day. I am able to work happily knowing she is having a ball. I particularly love the weekly focus as these tasks are often something we can continue with at home. I am also extremely impressed with the donation efforts throughout the year in supporting local animal rescues - this makes me very happy to contribute to. There is a strong sense of community that extends beyond Kip Doggy DayCare as an organisation. I highly recommend the Thomastown Team.

Staff learn about your pup and give you updates at the end of the day - also provide advice and guidance. Puppy goes in full of beans and comes out absolutely tuckered out 🙌. Always comes back smelling nice and looking fresh. You can also purchase baths and additional services which are well priced and definitely worth it.
We send our 4 year old golden retriever here for over 2 years now and he absolutely loves it. The attendants are all lovely and take such good care of him. Our dog has special diet requirements which they cater for and we get daily video updates of his day which is always comforting. Highly recommended and we value how much love and care they give to our dog Alfie!

Started taking my dog here when she was 3 months old (she is now 7 months). I think it is her favourite place in the world! She adores the staff and loves playing with the other pups. There are so many updates throughout the day across the private PetBooking dashboard, Instagram stories, & Facebook posts which I adore. The staff have always offered in-depth advice if there is anything they've picked up on, and her needs are definitely met as an active puppy. Extremely happy with Kip Thomastown :-)

I’ve just started taking my dog Snoop to kip thomastown twice a week, more so just so he has interaction with other dogs and has something to look forward too! I highly recommend skip Thomastown! All the staff are friendly and I leave my dog there knowing his in safe hands, and pick him up at the end of the day with massive smiles on his face :) Thankyou Kip Thomastown

If i could give more stars i would. Taking my dog to Kip Thomastown was one of the best experiences i have ever had for me and my girl. The team are just amazing, friendly and so helpful. I have put two other friends onto Kip and they are loving it. I little vids sent and the Facebook page showing what they fur kids get to do, is the best. Love love love this place

There are not enough words, or stars, to describe how amazing Kip Thomastown is. I have been sending my whippet, Goose, here sporadically over the past year since he was a puppy and every single time, he is met and treated with tremendous amounts of care, love and attention. The team provide enrichment and care throughout the day and send home pupdates so you know how your fur baby is doing. Goose and I love you all so much, keep up the amazing work <3
My cavvie has a good time whenever he’s at Kip. I like that he is placed with other dogs his size and temperament as he gets stressed out by the more playful dogs. The staff at Kip are great and every day is different for the dogs with various activities like bubbles, ripping up boxes, playing with toys, sloshing around in the paddle pool or running around outside. I also really enjoy the special activities like dressing up for book week and the little cards pawrents get on mother’s/Father’s Day from the pups!

Our requirements for dog daycare is as follows:
Vaccination Requirement: Your pet must be vaccinated, and the vaccination must be valid for the entire duration of your pet's stay.
- Puppies may attend daycare 10 days after their second puppy vaccine as long as they are C5 or equivalent.
- Dogs must have an up-to-date C5 (or equivalent) vaccination.
10-Day Rule: If your pet's previous vaccination had lapsed by more than 14 days, the new vaccine must be administered at least 10 days before the check-in date.
Vaccination Documentation: You are required to provide us with evidence of your pet's current (and immediate prior vaccination if checking in with 10 days of their most recent vaccination)
De-sexing Policy: Dogs must be de-sexed by 12 months
A Kip day starts bright and early at 7am, giving you plenty of time to drop off your furry friend on the way to work. Your dog’s day will be divided into two play sessions, morning and afternoon, and is broken up with quiet time in between to relax and recharge. This balance ensures that every dog has a great time without being overwhelmed and goes home looking forward to their next visit.
Groups are generally based on size, personality and play style so that your pup can enjoy their time with their BFFs (best furry friends!). Our animal handlers will also switch around groups as needed so that your dog gets the best out of every visit.
Safety is our number one priority. All dogs in our care are fully vaccinated and have passed their trial day before joining. Our floors are also non-slip and water-resistant, and our fences dig-proof.
The late cancellation charge allows us to reallocate your reservation to another pup if you are unable to attend your session. This late cancellation/no-show charge applies to customers who fail to cancel a daycare visit by 5pm the day prior to the reservation.
