Located in Peacedale, Kip Mornington provides ample room for your dog to run around, meet new friends, comfortable places to rest, and just enjoy a holiday while you’re on your own holiday!
Monday-Friday: 8:00-11:00am, 2:00-5:00pm
Saturday: 8:00-11:00am
Sunday: 2:00-5:00pm
Public Holidays: as advised
We offer door-to-door transport Melbourne-wide. This service is run Monday to Friday (subject to availability) and is not offered on public holidays. This service can be added as part of the booking process and takes the stress out of getting your pet to or from their holiday.
Kip Mornington offers Classic Rooms that are fully insulated with indoor & outdoor spaces. Your dog will enjoy exploring their home away from home!

Your dog will love stretching their legs with a daily bushwalk. Let them make the most of the great outdoors and escape city life during their stay with an extra 15 minute guided bushwalk.

We offer daily administration of medication, following your vet's instructions to ensure your pet's routine is maintained during their stay.

My dog Bailey gets so excited in the car when she realizes she is going to Kip Mornington! She can't get in the door fast enough because she knows she will have so much fun, meet new doggo friends, get lots of attention, cuddles and care. The staff are amazing and I know she is looked after every time she stays. I love the regular daily updates and photos that ease my mind. I highly recommend Kip Mornington!
Although my dog would prefer to stay home, she always comes back looking good and in great condition. Daily photos are posted on their website that show the caring attitude of the personal. I would not want to leave my dog at any other boarding facility.
I just picked my dog up from KIP and couldn’t be happier. I’ve been to another local kennel that is a fair bit cheaper and was concerned with the price of KIP but was so worth it!!!!!! Getting the daily updates was absolutely incredible and my dog came home so happy and smelling amazing. Will be returning for sure!!! Couldn’t recommend it more!! Worth every cent!!!

I was quite concerned putting Loki into a kennel for the first time. Loki had a rough start in life, l didn't want him to feel l had abandoned him! That definitely wasn't the case, to see my daily video updates and his new friends was amazing. I was so happy for him and me. I won't have the same uncertainty when he goes back to Kip Pearcedale, he loved it and l know he was well looked after. Thank you again.

I collected our German Shepherd from Kip Mornington yesterday after a 4 week stay and she looks fit and healthy. In fact she is booked into Kip again in January for a week as we feel they have done a good job of caring for her. I enjoyed receiving the daily photos.
Our furbabies, had the most amazing time. They weee so well looked after and we loved the photos and report that was given at the end. Thank you for taking such great care of them

Absolutely wonderful. They looked after my kelpie x puppy for the day & I was very unwell with a medical emergency. They sent me photo updates & found a friendly, patient & overall great match for my pup to play with which was a delight to see & so comforting when I was so unwell. My pup slept well after returning home & hasn't stopped smiling. Thank you so much & for your friendly down to earth customer service & fur baby expertise.
Absolutely amazing. We got daily updates, Photos and videos. Petal was cared for so well. When we picked her up from Kip she was happy confident and full of energy. Thanks Kip.
Banjo always has a wonderful time here having boarded 4 times now. Great and friendly service, I always feel well assured that he is being cared for with love and kindness. Absolutely love getting the daily check ins through the easy to use online portal and I love seeing what he’s getting up to while we are away. Staff go above and beyond even throwing him a birthday celebration twice when we have had to board him over his birthday week. Highly recommend and will be boarding with Kip for many years to come. Photos don’t lie he’s always got the biggest silly face on when he’s there.
As always, Rudi had a fantastic holiday at Kip Mornington. He returned home looking extremely fit, healthy and happy!
We were a bit nervous being our first time leaving Scout at boarding kennel, but the daily photos and videos certainly put our minds at ease. It was such a joy to see Scout having so much fun playing with the other dogs. The staff are obviously very passionate about dogs. Highly recommend Kip Mornington. Scout will definitely be back 🐾🐾

We just had our first experience using dog boarding and was very nervous… our golden Retreiver loved it and we were happy because every day they sent us updates and photos.
Our first time using a kennel for our beautiful golden retrievers, and we couldn’t be happier! Kip staff were so friendly when touring us around, made us feel very comfortable leaving our dogs in their caring hands! We had daily updates and the dogs looked beyond happy! Thank you SO much and the boys look forward to coming back for another “holiday” away from home.
It was the first time we have left our Weimaraner puppy at a kennel. He is 10 months old, large,goofy and very friendly. It proved to be the best decision we have made. Not only was Alfie well looked after, he made lots of friends. I particularly liked how the staff matched Alfie with other dogs that suited his temperament. The photos and videos we received were fabulous and only reconfirmed that he was happy and having fun. Alfie was a visitor at KIp for 23 days andhe would happily stay there again. Many thanks to all the staff.
Our 10 month old Staffy Ted had his first 2 week stay at Kip. We highly recommend. The daily photos and videos of Teds play time gave us confidence that he was safe and enjoying his stay.

We just had our first experience using dog boarding and was very nervous… our golden Retreiver loved it and we were happy because every day they sent us updates and photos.
Our first time using a kennel for our beautiful golden retrievers, and we couldn’t be happier! Kip staff were so friendly when touring us around, made us feel very comfortable leaving our dogs in their caring hands! We had daily updates and the dogs looked beyond happy! Thank you SO much and the boys look forward to coming back for another “holiday” away from home.
It was the first time we have left our Weimaraner puppy at a kennel. He is 10 months old, large,goofy and very friendly. It proved to be the best decision we have made. Not only was Alfie well looked after, he made lots of friends. I particularly liked how the staff matched Alfie with other dogs that suited his temperament. The photos and videos we received were fabulous and only reconfirmed that he was happy and having fun. Alfie was a visitor at KIp for 23 days andhe would happily stay there again. Many thanks to all the staff.

Absolutely wonderful. They looked after my kelpie x puppy for the day & I was very unwell with a medical emergency. They sent me photo updates & found a friendly, patient & overall great match for my pup to play with which was a delight to see & so comforting when I was so unwell. My pup slept well after returning home & hasn't stopped smiling. Thank you so much & for your friendly down to earth customer service & fur baby expertise.

Banjo always has a wonderful time here having boarded 4 times now. Great and friendly service, I always feel well assured that he is being cared for with love and kindness. Absolutely love getting the daily check ins through the easy to use online portal and I love seeing what he’s getting up to while we are away. Staff go above and beyond even throwing him a birthday celebration twice when we have had to board him over his birthday week. Highly recommend and will be boarding with Kip for many years to come. Photos don’t lie he’s always got the biggest silly face on when he’s there.

What you need to know about your Boarding Visit
As pet pawrents ourselves, we know that leaving your pet for the first time can be stressful! That’s why we’ve created a boarding experience that feels like a true retreat. Every stay includes a comfortable room, daily playtime with our team, free photo /video updates, and premium kibble meals. You’re also welcome to tour the accommodation beforehand for extra peace of mind.
Whether your dog’s racing around our grassy yards or your cat’s lounging in the sun, we’re confident they’ll love their stay.
To ensure everyone’s safety, please make sure that all pets are up to date with all vaccinations, and a certificate must be presented.

Our vaccination policy for pet boarding is as follows:
Vaccination Requirement: Your pet must be vaccinated, and the vaccination must be valid for the entire duration of your pet's stay.
- Puppies may board 10 days after their final puppy vaccines as long as they are C5 or equivalent.
- Kittens may board 10 days after their final kitten vaccines as long as they are F3 or equivalent.
- Dogs must have an up-to-date C5 (or equivalent) vaccination.
- Cats must have an up-to-date F3 vaccination.
10-Day Rule: If your pet's previous vaccination had lapsed by more than 14 days, the new vaccine must be administered at least 10 days before the check-in date.
Vaccination Documentation: You are required to provide proof of your pet’s current vaccination. If your pet is checking in within 10 days of their most recent vaccination, we also require the certificate from their immediate prior vaccination.
We are able to care for pets if they’re not desexed. We do not take dogs in heat across our centres. To the extent your dog comes into heat whilst in our care, we will require an emergency contact to pick them up within 24 hours of being notified. We will not accommodate entire males in the same room as undesexed females.
We provide door-to-door transport from major metro cities for $35 one way. You will be contacted by the driver with an estimated arrival time the day before your booking commences.
Absolutely! Simply contact us directly so our team can organise the best time for you to tour the premises.
Absolutely! For an extra $6/pet/day, we can administer medication to your pets. Please provide all medication in a marked vet bag and provide enough medication for the entire duration of their stay.
We sure can, for an extra fee of $3.50/day! Please provide all required food, clearly marked and labelled. Please inform staff if your dog has any food allergies.
