At Kip Melbourne South East, your pooch can play in our secure facilities to their hearts’ content before resting in spacious, comfortable rooms! Our state-of-the-art facilities provide your pet a safe and comfortable environment, no matter how long they stay.

If your dog deserves the very best (as they should), treat them to a stay with us in our Penthouse Suites. Our suites all have extra space, a TV, climate-controlled heating and cooling, as well as special designer beds with wool blankets. All furry guests will also enjoy a complimentary hydro bath for longer stays.

Your pup’s home away from home is a spacious 6sqm indoor and outdoor room, offering ultimate comfort. They'll love the plush bedding inside and a private outdoor area for exploration.
Club Suite
From $71/day
This 13sqm indoor and outdoor suite comfortably accommodates even two large dogs. They can enjoy fresh air in their private outdoor area, then relax indoors on a sofa-style bed. Double insulation ensures year-round comfort in a relaxing, home-like environment.
Luxury Suite (Penthouse)

Our Penthouse Suites are perfect for pampered pups, featuring indoor and outdoor spaces. Your dog can explore their private outdoor area, then relax on plush bedding with calming TV content and air conditioning for year-round comfort.

[EXCLUSIVE] Our Board & Train Program fast-tracks your dog's learning, addressing behaviours like jumping, selective hearing, reacting to dogs, and leash pulling. The 21-day Standard Program includes multiple daily sessions, weekly updates, and online module support.

Louis loves every single one of his stays at Kip Dandenong / South East. Every time we arrive his tail starts wagging! The staff have looked after him so well over the past few years, which I’m incredibly grateful for. Every day I receive a fantastic pic or video update of his smiley face, playing with the staff - which makes me feel so comfortable and happy each time I’m away knowing he’s having a great time and in good care. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Kip, and want to extend our endless gratitude to Alex! Our one year old German Shepherd, Roo, went into the 21-day board and train program as a strong leash puller and she really didn’t know how to behave around other dogs - the transformation has been incredible. Alex was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. She kept us in the loop with daily pup-date photos and videos, as well as detailed weekly progress emails, which made us feel so confident and reassured throughout the whole process. Being overseas at the time, it was so reassuring to know how much care and attention Roo was receiving every single day. One thing we really appreciated was how clearly and simply Alex explained everything to us. She took the time to show us practical ways to better manage Roo’s energy, and how to positively redirect her attention when she gets distracted. It made such a difference having guidance that was easy to understand and actually achievable in day-to-day life. The biggest testament to Alex’s work? Roo LOVED her time there and obviously adored Alex. When we returned for our follow-up session two weeks later, Roo was beyond excited to see her again — which says everything about the positive, supportive environment she created. We now feel so much more equipped and confident to continue Roo’s training at home and keep her moving in the right direction. A huge thank you to Alex and the entire Kip team for all your hard work, dedication, and genuine care. We’re so grateful!
I love this place, it’s been an absolute god send for my husband and I for when we plan our holidays. They were absolutely brilliant with my old girl who we unfortunately lost last year… when I had to inform them of a cancellation due to them passing… I’ll never forget the considerate and caring email they sent me…and they continue to provide brilliant care of my other fur baby. I've had my old ginger cat, Ruby, stay at Kip Melbourne South East 3 times now and she seems to love the experience. The staff take wonderful care of her. They send me regular updates and photos of her relaxing and playing. I can't recommend them highly enough.
Firstly thank you to the whole team. Moby came in was very reactive and we needed a better understanding on how to control certain situations...we went on holiday forn3 weeks and sent him to the 3week program. Alex was his trainer who was just amazing, we got photos and videos everyday and updates once a week. We came back to seeing moby being in close distances to other dogs and learnt more on how to make Moby a happier dog. They know what they doing , just trust thr process. So Thank you from Moby and his parents

Meg is an amazing trainer who provides excellent care and training for Arthur-I can truly see how happy he is when he’s with her. Murphy stayed for a 3 week board and train. He came home a different dog. Murphy is a 10 month old German Shepherd, who had a rough start in life. An injury led to elbow issues and he needed surgery. Crated for 6 weeks. He was behind on his training, socialization and was very reactive. He is also a prized show dog, wining every category he entered prior to the injury. So I was definitely the over protected show dog mum. Meg understood, she listened and accommodated my every request. Murphys care was extensive, one training session a day, then a physio session a day. His own food and multiple supplements. HIs care was complex. I received daily updates, when he had a tummy upset (completely normal when dogs are in a new environment), I received a message whilst i was overseas. It was we can give him probiotics (at no charge). We decide to change him onto his own dry food and see how it goes for a day. I was advised things settled. At handover we spent 2 hours TEACHING ME, how to handle Murphy. The marks, the que''s etc. Meg was patient and let me practice until i felt i was comfortable. i have own a lot of big dogs, and been to a lot of boarding kennels in my day , - BUT THIS IS A STAND OUT. German Shepherd parents are over the top at the best of times, and yes they are all our babies. I AM NOT GOING ANYWHERE ELSE EVER! THE 3 HOURS DRIVE IS WORTH MY DOGS HEALTH, CARE AND HAPPINESS. I would give Meg 10stars. ********************************** We have now settled in back at home. Everyone cannot believe how good he is now on loose lead, healing and generally paying attention. We are working hard to keep his good habits up and US HOOMANS NOW UNDERSTAND, it is us that create a GOOD DOG, by being consistent and disciplined. A good pack leader. We use the training sheets to ensure Murphy gets his walls, training and physio daily - it has really helped us stay on track. I am very grateful I found this place. Andrea Guy

Our dog, Nala, has always been a Kip girlie. She's attended Kip Blackburn and Kip Bayswater for day care every single week, and attended Kip Melbourne SE on multiple occasions. Every single time, she has come back happy and healthy. Kip does an amazing job keeping us updated through their portal. They also communicated proactively with any concerns they had about Nala's health and wellbeing. She socialised with many different dogs throughout her stay and was able to eat her special diet as requested without any dramas. Although Kip does end up being a bit more expensive, it is definitely worth it.
Kip is fantastic! We have a very anxious dog and they take the best care of her, she loves it there! Thanks guys!

Super friendly and professional pet resort. I love the daily updates of photos and videos. My anxious rescue dog always goes there when I travel. It gives her stability to go to the same place. I know that, when I go pick her up, she has just been bathed, ready to head home. Report card in paw! Thank you for taking such good care of my Telly.

I love this place, it’s been an absolute god send for my husband and I for when we plan our holidays. They were absolutely brilliant with my old girl who we unfortunately lost last year… when I had to inform them of a cancellation due to them passing… I’ll never forget the considerate and caring email they sent me…and they continue to provide brilliant care of my other fur baby. I've had my old ginger cat, Ruby, stay at Kip Melbourne South East 3 times now and she seems to love the experience. The staff take wonderful care of her. They send me regular updates and photos of her relaxing and playing. I can't recommend them highly enough.
Firstly thank you to the whole team. Moby came in was very reactive and we needed a better understanding on how to control certain situations...we went on holiday forn3 weeks and sent him to the 3week program. Alex was his trainer who was just amazing, we got photos and videos everyday and updates once a week. We came back to seeing moby being in close distances to other dogs and learnt more on how to make Moby a happier dog. They know what they doing , just trust thr process. Murphy stayed for a 3 week board and train. He came home a different dog. Murphy is a 10 month old German Shepherd, who had a rough start in life. An injury led to elbow issues and he needed surgery. Crated for 6 weeks. He was behind on his training, socialization and was very reactive. He is also a prized show dog, wining every category he entered prior to the injury. So I was definitely the over protected show dog mum. Meg understood, she listened and accommodated my every request. Murphys care was extensive, one training session a day, then a physio session a day. His own food and multiple supplements. HIs care was complex. I received daily updates, when he had a tummy upset (completely normal when dogs are in a new environment), I received a message whilst i was overseas. It was we can give him probiotics (at no charge). We decide to change him onto his own dry food and see how it goes for a day. I was advised things settled. At handover we spent 2 hours TEACHING ME, how to handle Murphy. The marks, the que''s etc. Meg was patient and let me practice until i felt i was comfortable. i have own a lot of big dogs, and been to a lot of boarding kennels in my day , - BUT THIS IS A STAND OUT. German Shepherd parents are over the top at the best of times, and yes they are all our babies. I AM NOT GOING ANYWHERE ELSE EVER! THE 3 HOURS DRIVE IS WORTH MY DOGS HEALTH, CARE AND HAPPINESS. I would give Meg 10stars. ********************************** We have now settled in back at home. Everyone cannot believe how good he is now on loose lead, healing and generally paying attention. We are working hard to keep his good habits up and US HOOMANS NOW UNDERSTAND, it is us that create a GOOD DOG, by being consistent and disciplined. A good pack leader. We use the training sheets to ensure Murphy gets his walls, training and physio daily - it has really helped us stay on track. I am very grateful I found this place. Andrea Guy
Lovely staff who genuinely care about animals.
Our dog, Nala, has always been a Kip girlie. She's attended Kip Blackburn and Kip Bayswater for day care every single week, and attended Kip Melbourne SE on multiple occasions. Every single time, she has come back happy and healthy. Kip does an amazing job keeping us updated through their portal. They also communicated proactively with any concerns they had about Nala's health and wellbeing. She socialised with many different dogs throughout her stay and was able to eat her special diet as requested without any dramas. Although Kip does end up being a bit more expensive, it is definitely worth it.
Kip is fantastic! We have a very anxious dog and they take the best care of her, she loves it there! Thanks guys!

Super friendly and professional pet resort. I love the daily updates of photos and videos. My anxious rescue dog always goes there when I travel. It gives her stability to go to the same place. I know that, when I go pick her up, she has just been bathed, ready to head home. Report card in paw! Thank you for taking such good care of my Telly.

Was nervous about putting our little guy in a boarding place for the first time, but Kip really gave us peace of mind with their great communication and daily pics and videos. Enabled us to really enjoy our holiday in the knowledge our guy was being cared for!

During this time, our dog received excellent care. The trainer, Megan, trained our dog daily according to its behavior and habits. She was loving and experienced, updating us on the dog's day and patiently answering my questions. During the final handover, she patiently and meticulously explained the dog's characteristics and training results, personally guiding us on how to proceed. I gained a lot of valuable experience. I would definitely choose this place again if needed in the future.

My two dogs attended the board and train 21 days and I am so impressed by the results and experience. Both dogs are now loose lead walking and are more confident than ever. The best part for me is seeing my dog Ruby wagging her tail on walks instead of in between her legs, it has been such an incredible transformation. Meg and Megan were attentive and sensitive to the the dogs needs as well as offering expert advice and delivering exceptional training. I am so happy my dogs were well looked after and shown a lot of love. Thank you Kip, we will see you again! ❤️

The staff are very friendly and professional and always provide photos of our boys during their play time. We would strongly recommend Kip (and Megan). Our dog has shown substantial improvement, and we look forward to continuing the training.
We needed help. We had no recall and little control over Henry, our two year old Great Dane. Although playful, his size made him potentially dangerous. And after a minor altercation with another dog, we signed up with Kip. Henry completed a three week intensive training course. The staff were amazing! Big shout out to Meg. She kept us up to date with photos, videos and emails on his training and well being. We completed an online course at the same time, to help us get a better understanding of Henry’s body language and behaviour, and how to successfully manage it. At the hand over sessions, we worked through all the new commands with Meg. We dropped off a mischievous giant doofus, who trampled everything in his excitement. And we brought home a mischievous giant doofus, that listens to us and comes when he’s called. Training is an on going process and fun. Highly recommend Kip South Eastern. They know dogs and every element of their behaviour . We still receive emails checking in on him, and offering help when needed. Thank you Kip.

Every stay includes a comfortable room, daily playtime with our team, free photo/video updates, and premium kibble meals. You’re also welcome to tour the accommodation beforehand for extra peace of mind.

To ensure everyone’s safety, please make sure that all pets are up to date with all vaccinations, and a certificate must be presented.

Our vaccination policy for pet boarding is as follows:
Vaccination Requirement: Your pet must be vaccinated, and the vaccination must be valid for the entire duration of your pet's stay.
- Puppies may board 10 days after their final puppy vaccines as long as they are C5 or equivalent.
- Kittens may board 10 days after their final kitten vaccines as long as they are F3 or equivalent.
- Dogs must have an up-to-date C5 (or equivalent) vaccination.
- Cats must have an up-to-date F3 vaccination.
10-Day Rule: If your pet's previous vaccination had lapsed by more than 14 days, the new vaccine must be administered at least 10 days before the check-in date.
Vaccination Documentation: You are required to provide proof of your pet’s current vaccination. If your pet is checking in within 10 days of their most recent vaccination, we also require the certificate from their immediate prior vaccination.
We are able to care for pets if they’re not desexed. We do not take dogs in heat across our centres. To the extent your dog comes into heat whilst in our care, we will require an emergency contact to pick them up within 24 hours of being notified. We will not accommodate entire males in the same room as undesexed females.
We provide door-to-door transport from major metro cities for $35 one way. You will be contacted by the driver with an estimated arrival time the day before your booking commences.
Absolutely! Simply contact us directly so our team can organise the best time for you to tour the premises.
Absolutely! For an extra $6/pet/day, we can administer medication to your pets. Please provide all medication in a marked vet bag and provide enough medication for the entire duration of their stay.
We sure can, for an extra fee of $3.50/day! Please provide all required food, clearly marked and labelled. Please inform staff if your dog has any food allergies.
