You don’t just have to live with bad behaviour! A visit to doggy daycare means they’ll get to learn and reinforce basic training and good habits. Our experienced handlers will help them with the basic skills to be a well-mannered dog, no matter what their age.
As pet parents ourselves we know leaving your pup can be daunting so we deliver regular photo and/or video updates (aka pup-dates) right to your phone. You can access these through an easy-to-use customer portal!

Is your dog ready to join the daycare fun?
You need to attend a First Day Trial before coming more regularly
We want to ensure your pup gets started on the right paw when they join the Kip family. That’s why all dogs do a first-day trial to see whether the daycare environment suits them. On this first day trial, we encourage you to arrive before 9:00am to give your dog the best chance of success. We will give you an update throughout the day, and at pick-up, you will receive a report card and the team will discuss a recommended attendance plan. You will also need to be available for an earlier pick-up should our staff deem that daycare is not suitable for your dog.

To attend daycare your dog will need to be vaccinated (to C5 or above) and desexed if over 12 months. Dogs can attend their First Day Trial 10 days after their second vaccination (C5 or equivalent).

I have just commenced taking my two Frenchies to Kip Blackburn and they are settling in The employees are very welcoming to our pets The only thing I personally would have liked to see is where my dogs were actually going to be playing sleeping etc as I just dropped them off at the reception and they get taken in through the doors. Overall we are happy with Kip and our pups are there again today thank you
You have a wonderful and safe place for our dogs to play. I know my pupper goes crazy when she sees where we are. She cannot wait for a rough and tumble with her doggie friends. Your staff are the best, they have been very kind and accommodating especially during a time when im going through a serious illness. I highly recommend Kip Blackburn and my pupper can never have too many friends 🧡
My dog has been a part of this lovely family for two and half years. He absolutely loves Kip and can’t get in the door fast enough. The staff are wonderful people and I can’t recommend it highly enough.
The staff are wonderful !! You can tell they really love dogs and working at KIP Blackburn from the moment you walk in ! My dog.. Boots the Akita and I are always greeted warmly and never rushed at drop off . Same with pick up and always time to share with me how his experience was on the day . (they also do an excellent brush out of his coat when requested) I also love the added care of sending thru photos of him socializing with the other dogs ! Always look forward to seeing those ! Highly Recommend Kip Blackburn !!!

I have taken three dogs to Kip Blackburn for daycare over the past ten years. The staff love dogs, are always welcoming and know the individual personalities of each of the dogs. My current two come home exhausted. There are different activities for enrichment each day. They are keen to help celebrate birthdays. My boy recently turned 8 and I brought a cake along with him on his birthday and the staff made him feel special, popping a festive hat on his head, creating a lovely video of the party as the cake was shared out with the other dogs.

Cooper loves coming here and is well taken care of, gets his fill of socialising and comes home all tuckered out after a long and happy day. The staff are so friendly, supportive and provide honest feedback so we know we’re leaving him in good hands. Thank you!

He’s so excited all the way there and we can barely hold him back in reception as he just wants to play with his friends. We couldn’t be happier with his care and the photo updates throughout the day are a fantastic bonus.
My dog goes once a week and it's the highlight of her week! The attendants are wonderful and caring, they take photos and give me a verbal update when I pick her up. They also have special events e.g. last week "Pups and Prose". I love that I can go to work knowing my dog will be well looked after whilst having a blast.

The staff's genuine love for dogs was evident, and my pup received top-notch care and attention throughout the morning. The facilities were clean, spacious, and equipped with everything a dog could dream of. Most importantly, my pup came home happy, tired, and ready for a good snooze after being filled with playtime and socialisation. After the First Day Trial, your dog will reap the benefits of the structured daily routines and our focus on developing fundamental skills and manners (recall, gate manners, group sits) that makes Kip unique. Our requirements for dog daycare is as follows:
Vaccination Requirement: Your pet must be vaccinated, and the vaccination must be valid for the entire duration of your pet's stay.
- Puppies may attend daycare 10 days after their second puppy vaccine as long as they are C5 or equivalent.
- Dogs must have an up-to-date C5 (or equivalent) vaccination.
10-Day Rule: If your pet's previous vaccination had lapsed by more than 14 days, the new vaccine must be administered at least 10 days before the check-in date.
Vaccination Documentation: You are required to provide us with evidence of your pet's current (and immediate prior vaccination if checking in with 10 days of their most recent vaccination)
De-sexing Policy: Dogs must be de-sexed by 12 months
A Kip day starts bright and early at 7am, giving you plenty of time to drop off your furry friend on the way to work. Your dog’s day will be divided into two play sessions, morning and afternoon, and is broken up with quiet time in between to relax and recharge. This balance ensures that every dog has a great time without being overwhelmed and goes home looking forward to their next visit.
Groups are generally based on size, personality and play style so that your pup can enjoy their time with their BFFs (best furry friends!). Our animal handlers will also switch around groups as needed so that your dog gets the best out of every visit.
Safety is our number one priority. All dogs in our care are fully vaccinated and have passed their trial day before joining. Our floors are also non-slip and water-resistant, and our fences dig-proof.
The late cancellation charge allows us to reallocate your reservation to another pup if you are unable to attend your session. This late cancellation/no-show charge applies to customers who fail to cancel a daycare visit by 5pm the day prior to the reservation.
