Kip Newstead is a secure and comfortable facility built with your doggy’s happiness and safety in mind. With us, your pup can explore our different play stations or relax in air-conditioned comfort in the heart of Brisbane.
Physical and mental stimulation is just as important for dogs as it is for us humans! Daily interaction and engagement with other dogs can help with feelings of loneliness or anxiety and is important in keeping your dog happy, engaged, and thriving.
With the many pressures of modern life, providing your dog with the level of exercise and intensity they crave can be hard. Nothing can replicate the energy dogs spend playing with each other – constant wrestling and running around provides them with the needed outlet. Moreover, socialisation with other dogs is a necessary formative experience, especially in younger years. This will help prevent future anti-social behaviours and is undeniably important for early development.
First things first, before you join the Kip Family, we ask that your dog completes a trial day with us so that we can make sure they’re an excellent fit for the daycare environment. All of our Kipsters have passed this assessment to ensure everyone's health and safety.
Trial days are typically held on our quieter days. Your pup will get a gentle introduction to the daycare setting and culture on our trial days as we evaluate their personality and interaction with other dogs. We’ll match your dog with a small group of regulars who play well together to assess how your dog settles in. Once they’ve had the chance to mingle and explore all the new sights and senses, we’ll introduce them to a larger group of dogs.

Your weekly membership includes one free day and unlimited discounts on additional days. You’ll also receive an additional 10% off on all retail and washes.
What’s more, a Kip membership is for the whole family – meaning just one membership gives you access to benefits for all your pups who attend our daycare!
The Newstead doggy daycare membership is flexible, which means that after the initial period of three weeks, you can cancel at any time, so you don’t need to pay if you go away.
At Kip, safety is our absolute number one priority. We ensure that every dog at Kip Newstead is fully vaccinated and have passed a trial day before joining the family.
You can be sure that your dog will have plenty of supervised time alongside our paw-sionate staff to ensure a happy, sociable, and active day.
Our team of Newstead carers have years of experience in monitoring groups of pups from all backgrounds. They are proficient in caring for dogs and keeping the vibe fun and playful at all times!
The best doggy day care! My Australian Shepherd Archie love love loves attending here once a week, and he has the best time and often doesn't want to leave! The staff are very responsive and helpful.
From the moment we stepped inside the staff really put our minds at ease. Instead of leaving her to fend for herself amongst a bunch of other dogs, they introduced her slowly to the new environment. They even provided a report card at the end of her first day! We’ve been back again since and our puppy enjoyed herself. The “pup-dates” throughout the day really help assure us that she’s having a good time. We’ll definitely be back regularly!
I take my pupper Rocky to Kip once a week & he loves it. The staff are so friendly. As we get there he is so excited to see them. When he gets home he is totally exhausted from playing all day! I highly recommend this place. Rocky is so well socialised & is great with all breeds of dogs.
The centre and the staff here are fantastic. Highly recommend getting pups in here early so that they get properly socialised. Our Staffordshire Bull Terrier is always pooped the next day and is incredibly calm and sociable thanks in no small part to spending time here!

Your dog’s safety is our number one priority. We’ve put plenty of time and dedication into ensuring our centre is world-class and of the highest standard in cleanliness and hygiene.
Our floors are non-slip and water-resistant, staying free of germs and odours. Our play yards are separated by 1.8m high fences and are big enough to play in but small enough to be managed by our amazing staff. We also have at least two gates between every dog and the exit at all times.
Our fully air-conditioned play stations ensure a comfortable environment, and your dog can access food and water throughout the day.
Before your furry friend joins us at daycare, they’ll have completed a trial day to assess whether the environment is right for them. We understand that some dogs are shy and may need more than one day to feel at ease with the environment, which is why we encourage return visits.
Kip Newstead welcomes dogs of all different breeds, sizes and personalities, shy dogs included. We have a diverse group of pups that are more than friendly and comfortable with new entrants. With us, you can be sure that your pup will make like-minded, happy friends to keep them company throughout the active day.

When you purchase a membership, we’ll inform you of the weekly fee, additional visit daycare fee and any available discounts. We reserve the right to change these prices at any time with complete discretion, providing you with 14 days notice. At this time, you’ll have the right to cancel your membership with no penalty.

The late cancellation charge allows us to reallocate your reservation to another pup if you cannot attend your session. This late cancellation/no-show charge applies to customers that fail to cancel by 5pm the day prior to the reservation.
• Dogs can attend 10 days after their second vaccine (C5 or equivalent)
• Dogs must be de-sexed by 12 months
• Pet parents must present an up-to-date C5 vaccination certificate
• Pet parents must have completed the Kip Enrolment Form
