Located only a stone’s throw from North Lakes, Kip Brisbane resides on acres of beautiful Australian bushland. Our resort-style accommodation is the perfect place for your pets to enjoy their holiday, and our facilities have everything your pet needs, even a pool in our Water Fun Park for those dogs who have waterwings!

With spacious, grassy yards and custom-built facilities, your dog can enjoy bushwalks in the great outdoors, or play in our Doggy Water Park. There’s something for every pet so choose Kip Brisbane for your pets’ next stay.
We offer door-to-door transport Brisbane-wide. This service is run Monday to Friday (subject to availability) and is not offered on public holidays. This service can be added as part of the booking process and takes the stress out of getting your pet to or from their holiday.

Your dog will love stretching their legs with a daily guided bushwalk. Let them make the most of the great outdoors and escape city life during their stay with an extra 15-minute guided bushwalk.

For dogs that love to frolic in the water we have a purpose-designed natural style water park where they can enjoy an extended daily swim and play session.

Very happy with our choice of Kip Brisbane for boarding our Australian Terrier. We were very nervous given he can be dog selective, and has a strong prey drive particularly for toads. This was all well understood, he was boarded in a room that was as toad proof as possible, locked in at night, daily playtime and we added bushwalks! The team we met were very lovely, and answered all of my questions with kindness. I had been communicating with them for over a year, before taking the plunge and booking. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kip, and will use their services again.

Our 2 furbabies had the best time for their 3 day stay with the gang at kips. We loved how attentive and caring they were to our 2. We love the daily updates, being able to see the fun and excitement our furbabies had in their faces. Will be a permanent customer in the future.

My big chunky boy even celebrated his first birthday while boarding, complete with a birthday hat and adorable photos! Communication was fantastic, with daily updates and pictures so I never had to wonder how they were doing. It was their first time boarding (and their first time away from me) and like typical bulldog pups, they had a little tiff. Amy called me straight away, explained everything clearly, arranged a vet visit and kept me fully informed the entire time. We also used the transport service both ways, the ladies were so lovely & calm, and I could tell my boys felt completely at ease. I honestly can’t recommend Kip Brisbane highly enough. They’ll absolutely be our go-to boarding kennel from now on! 🐾🎉
Our cat Alfie stayed here twice! Really love these guys who take care of our furry friend!
Our Border Collie Bobby loves staying at Kip Brisbane. The team are always so welcoming and accommodating. Bob has a super time each visit and we love seeing how he is going via the email pupdates we receive. Highly recommend.

10/10 - So far they have been AMAZING! My pet was picked up, and will be dropped off, and I get daily pictures of her with updates. *Only suggestion for them is to perhaps think about putting a camera in the pet room. I say this as today you can "limited share" cameras and it would also allow your pet to hear the owners voice as well as see them. But the daily pictures and blurbs are great too! Very professional and highly recommend

Jana adores her stays at Kip! The team takes wonderful care of her, making sure she gets to socialise with similar size and temperament dogs and they even keep up our training with her (Jana loves learning new tricks). When we collect her, she's excited to see us but contented and happy after her stay giving us peace of mind that she's well cared for while we're on holiday. And we always get daily updates with photos and videos so we know she's having a good holiday too! Highly recommend.

We could not be any happier about the stay our two cats had at Kip Brisbane. Each day we received photos and an account of how they were doing, this was really important to us, being able to see that they were alright. We would not hesitate to recommend Kip Brisbane for cat boarding, and this will now be our regular cattery when we need it. The place is very clean and well run by great staff.

They have outstanding communication, and we love the photo updates! We have tried a different cattery in the area, and the experience was terrible! At Kip, it truly feels like your animals are staying with family. Even through the Cyclone, we were keep updated and I knew our girls where in safe hands! Thanks so much team!

It was tough leaving our boy for another extended stay (3 weeks) but again we were updated daily with photos/video of him trotting about the yard with other dogs and sometimes alone when it was quiet but always with his tail up. I like that he has his own separate grassy run with neighbouring dogs, so plenty of stimulation, or he can chill inside his enclosure. He (again) settled back home content. Great, easy-going staff, very approachable. We'll be back.
My dog has stayed at Kip a few times over the past year for short stays and long stays. Every staff member has been very nice and the check in/check out process is usually quick and easy. My dog is not social with other dogs so they give him yard time alone and the daily pics and videos of him running around and having fun with his sitter really puts me at ease. He comes home happy every time he's stayed.
Truly this is the ONLY boarding kennel we trust to look after our dogs. The staff are genuine dog/cat lovers. The accommodation for the dogs is fantastic. Many options of various activities to keep them happy and engaged (ours love the water park option) as well as healthy dinner options. We also received daily updates via email showing photos and videos. When we pick them up, they have been washed, smell fantastic and are genuinely happy with waggy tails. If you go away on holiday...KIP will make your pets feel like they are on holiday as well. Extremely highly recommended 👍
We have been coming to Kip for 5 years and wouldn't take our dog anywhere else! We were tentative about putting our pup Whiskey in a kennel for the first time after he was adopted from being in the pound the 1st year of his life. The staff were great and continue to be great with his care - Whiskey is so excited to stay at Kip and see his friends, both human and other pups. He always comes back happy and smelling nice! We get to see update photos and videos every day, which helps us enjoy our holiday even more knowing our boy is having his own great holiday. The facilities are nice and we have never had any issues, whether Whiskey has gone in for daycare or stayed for 2 weeks. I couldn't recommend Kip and their staff any higher for taking care of your fur bb while you're away. :) (Happy boy photo from his most recent stay)
I left my cat, Rosie, in the care of Kip Brisbane Cat & Dog Boarding for just over a month during the Christmas/New Year holidays, and the care and love Rosie received exceeded expectations. I received daily updates on Rosie, and although she took a little while to warm up to her carer, you could see how much she enjoyed their company and affection towards the end of her stay. I am beyond happy with the kindness and dedicated care Rosie received and will happily recommend Kip to anyone who needs their pet boarded. From someone who loves their cat more than anything I have 100% trust in this place. Absolutely incredible, you can feel their care for animals. I called KIP (Manie was incredible) when I was in the carpark of another pet boarding place (horror!) and they took my kitty in with no questions and made me feel so comfortable. The daily videos and updates were amazing too. I could enjoy my holiday with peace of mind my baby was taken care of. 100000% recommend you’d be silly to go somewhere else!! love you guys
We boarded our dachshund at Kip for two weeks. The process from touring the property to picking up our dog was all very smooth! The staff at Kip reassured us of all the safety measures they have in place and answered all our questions. The daily photo updates of our puppy put our mind to ease. It was our first time boarding our dog and we will definitely be using Kip again if we are away travelling and need a safe and happy place to look after our doggo. Thanks team!

Truly this is the ONLY boarding kennel we trust to look after our dogs. The staff are genuine dog/cat lovers. The accommodation for the dogs is fantastic. Many options of various activities to keep them happy and engaged (ours love the water park option) as well as healthy dinner options. We also received daily updates via email showing photos and videos. When we pick them up, they have been washed, smell fantastic and are genuinely happy with waggy tails. If you go away on holiday...KIP will make your pets feel like they are on holiday as well. Extremely highly recommended 👍
We have been coming to Kip for 5 years and wouldn't take our dog anywhere else! We were tentative about putting our pup Whiskey in a kennel for the first time after he was adopted from being in the pound the 1st year of his life. The staff were great and continue to be great with his care - Whiskey is so excited to stay at Kip and see his friends, both human and other pups. He always comes back happy and smelling nice! We get to see update photos and videos every day, which helps us enjoy our holiday even more knowing our boy is having his own great holiday. The facilities are nice and we have never had any issues, whether Whiskey has gone in for daycare or stayed for 2 weeks. I left my cat, Rosie, in the care of Kip Brisbane Cat & Dog Boarding for just over a month during the Christmas/New Year holidays, and the care and love Rosie received exceeded expectations. I received daily updates on Rosie, and although she took a little while to warm up to her carer, you could see how much she enjoyed their company and affection towards the end of her stay. I am beyond happy with the kindness and dedicated care Rosie received and will happily recommend Kip to anyone who needs their pet boarded. From someone who loves their cat more than anything I have 100% trust in this place. Absolutely incredible, you can feel their care for animals. I called KIP (Manie was incredible) when I was in the carpark of another pet boarding place (horror!) and they took my kitty in with no questions and made me feel so comfortable. The daily videos and updates were amazing too. I could enjoy my holiday with peace of mind my baby was taken care of. 100000% recommend you’d be silly to go somewhere else!! love you guys

The staff at Kip reassured us of all the safety measures they have in place and answered all our questions. The daily photo updates of our puppy put our mind to ease. It was our first time boarding our dog and we will definitely be using Kip again if we are away travelling and need a safe and happy place to look after our doggo. Thanks team!

The team takes wonderful care of her, making sure she gets to socialise with similar size and temperament dogs and they even keep up our training with her (Jana loves learning new tricks). When we collect her, she's excited to see us but contented and happy after her stay giving us peace of mind that she's well cared for while we're on holiday. And we always get daily updates with photos and videos so we know she's having a good holiday too! Highly recommend.

It was tough leaving our boy for another extended stay (3 weeks) but again we were updated daily with photos/video of him trotting about the yard with other dogs and sometimes alone when it was quiet but always with his tail up. I like that he has his own separate grassy run with neighbouring dogs, so plenty of stimulation, or he can chill inside his enclosure. He (again) settled back home content. Great, easy-going staff, very approachable. We'll be back.
My dog has stayed at Kip a few times over the past year for short stays and long stays. Every staff member has been very nice and the check in/check out process is usually quick and easy. What you need to know about your Boarding Visit
As pet pawrents ourselves, we know that leaving your pet for the first time can be stressful! That’s why we’ve created a boarding experience that feels like a true retreat. Every stay includes a comfortable room, daily playtime with our team, free photo /video updates, and premium kibble meals. You’re also welcome to tour the accommodation beforehand for extra peace of mind.
Whether your dog’s racing around our grassy yards or your cat’s lounging in the sun, we’re confident they’ll love their stay.
To ensure everyone’s safety, please make sure that all pets are up to date with all vaccinations, and a certificate must be presented.

Our vaccination policy for pet boarding is as follows:
Vaccination Requirement: Your pet must be vaccinated, and the vaccination must be valid for the entire duration of your pet's stay.
- Puppies may board 10 days after their final puppy vaccines as long as they are C5 or equivalent.
- Kittens may board 10 days after their final kitten vaccines as long as they are F3 or equivalent.
- Dogs must have an up-to-date C5 (or equivalent) vaccination.
- Cats must have an up-to-date F3 vaccination.
10-Day Rule: If your pet's previous vaccination had lapsed by more than 14 days, the new vaccine must be administered at least 10 days before the check-in date.
Vaccination Documentation: You are required to provide proof of your pet’s current vaccination. If your pet is checking in within 10 days of their most recent vaccination, we also require the certificate from their immediate prior vaccination.
We are able to care for pets if they’re not desexed. We do not take dogs in heat across our centres. To the extent your dog comes into heat whilst in our care, we will require an emergency contact to pick them up within 24 hours of being notified. We will not accommodate entire males in the same room as undesexed females.
We provide door-to-door transport from major metro cities for $35 one way. You will be contacted by the driver with an estimated arrival time the day before your booking commences.
Absolutely! Simply contact us directly so our team can organise the best time for you to tour the premises.
Absolutely! For an extra $6/pet/day, we can administer medication to your pets. Please provide all medication in a marked vet bag and provide enough medication for the entire duration of their stay.
We sure can, for an extra fee of $3.50/day! Please provide all required food, clearly marked and labelled. Please inform staff if your dog has any food allergies.
