  • Canine Coaching: Add extra enrichment and training to your dog’s boarding stay. Choose as many or as few days as you like to provide extra enrichment for your dog beyond playtime.
  • Board & Train: This intensive program sees your dog stay with us for 16-25 days. They’ll work closely with your dedicated trainer throughout their stay to improve behaviours and achieve the training outcomes you discussed with your trainer.

Things To Know for Dog Training in Newcastle

Before starting a Kip training program, your dog must have up-to-date C5 (or equivalent) vaccinations, and current flea and worm treatments. We are able to cater for dogs that aren't desexed, but we do not take dogs in heat across our centres. These details will need to be added to your Customer Portal prior to the commencement date.

During the program, you’ll also receive regular updates in your Customer Portal, keeping you fully informed of your dog’s progress. Our trainers will ensure you have all the tools needed to maintain your dog's progress at home and provide ongoing support even after the program has ended.

What types of dogs do you accept for training?

We welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes, provided they meet our vaccination and health requirements. Our vaccination requirements are as follows:

  • Puppies may board 10 days after their final puppy vaccines as long as they are C5 or equivalent.
  • Dogs must have an up-to-date C5 (or equivalent) vaccination.

Will I receive updates on my dog's progress?

Absolutely! You'll receive regular updates via your Customer Portal to keep you informed throughout the training process.

What vaccinations does my dog need for training?

Dogs must have an up-to-date C5 (or equivalent) vaccination to participate in any of our training programs. Your vaccination certificate can be uploaded into your Customer Portal any time before your dog’s training start date.

We are able to cater for dogs that aren't desexed, but we do not take dogs in heat across our centres. To the extent your dog comes into heat whilst in our care, we will require an emergency contact to pick them up within 24 hours of being notified. We will not accommodate entire males in the same room as undesexed females.
