Areas We Service in Queensland

Kip currently services fur families in South East Queensland. If you’re in metropolitan Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast, our door-to-door transport service is also available to make your dog’s stay even more convenient.

Things To Know for Boarding Your Dog in Queensland

We know the Queensland sun can be extremely hot sometimes, so all our rooms are climate-controlled, which keeps your dog’s room at a comfortable temperature all year round.

We also welcome dogs of all shapes and sizes, but there are a few requirements before your dog can board with Kip. We require that your dog is up to date with their vaccinations (C5 or equivalent) and their tick and flea treatments. We can also care for dogs if they’re not desexed, but we can’t accept dogs in heat.

To tour our Queensland premises, please organise your visit ahead of time. We’re unable to accommodate last-minute requests or tours during drop-off periods, as we strive to maintain a seamless experience for all pets and owners.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take big dogs for dog boarding in Queensland?

We love dogs of all shapes and sizes! We simply ask that they meet the vaccination requirements to board with us:

  • Puppies may board 10 days after their final puppy vaccines if they are C5 or equivalent.
  • Dogs must have an up-to-date C5 (or equivalent) vaccination.

We are able to cater for dogs that aren't desexed, but we do not take dogs in heat across our centres. To the extent your dog comes into heat whilst in our care, we will require an emergency contact to pick them up within 24 hours of being notified. We will not accommodate entire males in the same room as undesexed females.

How long can my dog stay for?

We offer both short-term and longer-term overnight stays for Queensland dogs. Whether you’re away for one night or need a longer holiday, our animal carers will ensure your dog is well looked after.

Can you pick up my dog in Queensland?

Absolutely! For a small additional fee, we offer door-to-door transport for dogs in metro Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Take the hassle out of driving to and from our locations.
