Things To Know for Cat Boarding in Greater Canberra

Before your cat checks in at Kip, there are a few things you need to know. To ensure the safety of all our guests, your cat must be up to date with their F3 (or equivalent) vaccination. Flea and worm treatments must also be current before their stay. If your cat isn't desexed, that's fine, but we don't take any cats in heat across our centres.

We provide everything your cat needs for their comfort, including bedding, toys and meals. Our focus is on making sure your cat enjoys a stress-free stay from start to finish!

If your cat takes medication or you prefer to provide their own food, you can add this to their stay during the online booking process.

What vaccinations are required for my cat to stay at Kip?

All cats must have an up-to-date F3 (or equivalent) vaccination. Please ensure your vaccination certificate is current before your cat’s stay. This can be uploaded to your Customer Portal at any time leading up to their stay.

Please also note that we are able to care for pets if they're not desexed but we do not take cats in heat across our locations. To the extent your cat comes into heat whilst in our care, we will require an emergency contact to pick them up within 24 hours of being notified. We will not accommodate entire males in the same room as undesexed females.

How long can my cat stay in a Cattery for?

Your cat is welcome to stay with us overnight or even for a longer-term stay! Whatever your cat boarding needs are, we will help you find a solution.

Can I tour your facilities?

Absolutely, and we encourage this! You can contact us to organise a time for your tour. We are unable to facilitate last minute tours at check-in.
