Getting Started with Kip

How it Works

A Kip doggy day care day typically starts bright and early at 6:30am, so that our pet parents can drop off their fun-loving furballs on their morning commute to work.

We start the day by finding the right group of pet pals for every pup based on their size, personality, likes and dislikes so that your dog can enjoy their time with other like-minded doggo’s. The day will be divided into two play sessions in the indoor or outdoor area: morning and afternoon, with quiet time in between to relax and recharge. This method provides a healthy balance, ensuring every pup has a great time and looks forward to their next visit.

Your Dog’s First Day

Before your dog can join the Kip family, we must ask they complete a trial day with us to assess their suitability for the environment. All current Kip companions dog daycare Australia-wide have passed this assessment, ensuring the health and safety of everyone involved.

Trial days are usually held on our quieter days so that your dog can have a calm introduction to the environment. On this day, we’ll match your dog with a small group of regulars that play well with new dogs so that we can see how they settle in. Once they’ve had the chance to meet some other pups and explore all the new senses, sounds and smells, we’ll introduce them to more of the other dogs for positive socialisation.

Trial Day Requirements

• Dogs must have had their final vaccine 10 days before attending
• Dogs must be de-sexed by six months

• Pet parents must present an up-to-date C5 vaccination certificate

• Pet parents must have completed the Kip Enrolment Form

On our trial days, we ask that you or a friend be available on short notice after the drop off in the event you need to pick up your dog.
