Things To Know for Cat Boarding in Ipswich

Before your cat’s stay at Kip, we want to ensure they’re fully prepared for a healthy and comfortable experience. All cats must be up to date with their F3 (or equivalent) vaccination, and flea and worming treatments should be current. We are able to care for cats that aren't desexed but note that we don't accept any cats that are in heat. If your cat comes into heat during their stay, they will need to be picked up within 24 hours. This is to ensure the health and safety of all cats in our care.

We also provide all the bedding and meals, so you don’t need to pack anything with your cat. If your cat has dietary requirements or needs medication, you can add this to your cat’s stay during the online booking process.

What vaccinations are required for my cat to stay at Kip?

Your cat will need to be vaccinated with F3 (or equivalent). A valid vaccination certificate will need to be uploaded into your Customer Portal before the start of their stay.

We are able to care for pets if they're not desexed however, we do not take cats in heat across our locations. To the extent your cat comes into heat whilst in our care, we will require an emergency contact to pick them up within 24 hours of being notified. We will not accommodate entire males in the same room as undesexed females.

How often will I be updated about my cat’s stay?

We know how important it is to stay connected with your pet. That’s why we provide regular updates via your Customer Portal throughout your cat’s stay, so you’ll always know how they’re doing.
