Australia’s favourite doggy daycare has come to Brisbane! Kip Newstead is only a stone's throw from Waterfront Park, and a 5 minute walk from Gasworks Plaza (we checked!). It's the perfect spot for your dogs to run off all their energy before coming home ready for a kip.

Kip Newstead is open Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 6:30pm. We are closed on all public holidays.
Playtime is always fun, but all play and no rest makes Fido an overstimulated dog! We make sure to break up high-energy play with structured rest to keep all the dogs happy and well-behaved.
As pet parents ourselves we know leaving your pup can be daunting so we deliver regular photo and/or video updates (aka pup-dates) right to your phone. You can access these through an easy-to-use customer portal!

Is your dog ready to join the daycare fun?
You need to attend a First Day Trial before coming more regularly!
We want to ensure your pup gets started on the right paw when they join the Kip family. That’s why all dogs do a first-day trial to see whether the daycare environment suits them. On this first-day trial, we encourage you to arrive before 9:00am to give your dog the best chance of success. We will give you an update throughout the day, and at pick-up, you will receive a report card, and the team will discuss a recommended attendance plan. You will also need to be available for an earlier pick-up should our staff deem that daycare is not suitable for your dog.

To attend daycare your dog will need to be vaccinated (to C5 or above) and desexed if over 12 months. Dogs can attend their First Day Trial 10 days after their second vaccination (C5 or equivalent).

I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for the team at Kip Newstead! Maple, my 6 month old toy cavoodle is my first dog and it's been so reassuring sending him to Kip the last 2 months, because the staff really care, give progress updates and support me in helping him be the best dog he can be. Facilities are great, drop off and pick up times are SO convenient, and the staff are just genuinely lovely people. Our pup Evie loves going to Kip! Super caring team members really look after her, and she comes home exhausted every time. She pulls like a pint-sized sled dog to get in there in the mornings, and has a ball while she’s there. The Kip team really know their stuff, and noticed when Evie wasn’t quite herself when we were renovating our home - they really do care, and we’re so thankful to have them close by. 10/10!
Coco is having a wonderful time. She comes home mentally and physically exhausted with all of the activities on offer. And she seems to learn something new every day

Nelly loves her day at daycare, the staff catered to her nervous nature and have helped her blossom. They provide updates and brilliant enrichment activities during every visit. Booking is easy using the portal.
Fulgencio had the best day ever and everything was amazing as a dad. They kept me updated the whole day with cute photos and videos. Communication was amazing with all the people who work there (Specially Lani). We are definitely coming back.

I would definitely recommend Kip @ Newstead. The staff are great and give me updates on him every pickup. My 9 month old Red Cattle X Jack Russell X Rhodesian gets great socialisation with other dogs, lots of play and rest as needed and comes home a happily exhausted pup.
Highly recommend Kip Doggy Daycare. At the age of 11 years I had hope my boy could get over his big dog syndrome. Here he is playing with the pack living his best life 💙. He no longer pulls on the lead and our meet and greets are more relaxed. Thank you to the amazing staff
Our little Lilly loves it here, and runs to the door! The vids on her day gives us smiles and the staff are pawsome! Would recommend to anyone!!

Ollie loves going to Kip Dog Daycare. We first did the half day trial and then followed up the next week with a full day. Amazing facilities and the staff are incredibly knowledgable and loving. Dog Daycare has been a great option for us as we wanted Ollie to still be able to socialise off leash in a safe environment while he was between puppy school and obedience training. During his last visit we also got Ollie bathed. He was so clean and so soft for days after. Trust that your dog will be in the best of care here. 10/10 recommend. Ollie is already looking forward to seeing his best friend Waffle at his next stay!

Dropping Poppy off in the morning and knowing that she is going to have the best time gives me such a peace of mind! It has helped her socialising skills and she has even learnt some tricks. Highly recommend Kip as an amazing place for Floofs!

Our requirements for dog daycare is as follows:
Vaccination Requirement: Your pet must be vaccinated, and the vaccination must be valid for the entire duration of your pet's stay.
- Puppies may attend daycare 10 days after their second puppy vaccine as long as they are C5 or equivalent.
- Dogs must have an up-to-date C5 (or equivalent) vaccination.
10-Day Rule: If your pet's previous vaccination had lapsed by more than 14 days, the new vaccine must be administered at least 10 days before the check-in date.
Vaccination Documentation: You are required to provide us with evidence of your pet's current (and immediate prior vaccination if checking in with 10 days of their most recent vaccination)
De-sexing Policy: Dogs must be de-sexed by 12 months
A Kip day starts bright and early at 7am, giving you plenty of time to drop off your furry friend on the way to work. Your dog’s day will be divided into two play sessions, morning and afternoon, and is broken up with quiet time in between to relax and recharge. This balance ensures that every dog has a great time without being overwhelmed and goes home looking forward to their next visit.
Groups are generally based on size, personality and play style so that your pup can enjoy their time with their BFFs (best furry friends!). Our animal handlers will also switch around groups as needed so that your dog gets the best out of every visit.
Safety is our number one priority. All dogs in our care are fully vaccinated and have passed their trial day before joining. Our floors are also non-slip and water-resistant, and our fences dig-proof.
The late cancellation charge allows us to reallocate your reservation to another pup if you are unable to attend your session. This late cancellation/no-show charge applies to customers who fail to cancel a daycare visit by 5pm the day prior to the reservation.
