We offer door-to-door transport Melbourne-wide. This service is run Monday to Friday (subject to availability) and is not offered on public holidays. This service can be added as part of the booking process and takes the stress out of getting your pet to or from their holiday.
Kip Mornington offers Classic Rooms that are fully insulated with indoor & outdoor spaces. Your dog will enjoy exploring their home away from home!

We were so so pleased with our precious boy’s stay at Kip. Our puppy is very shy & very attached to us so we were really worried about being apart from him. The staff at Kip were so reassuring and so kind. From the staff during the booking process to the pick up on collection day, to the daily updates of our puppy adjusting, meeting new friends and being cared for by the very gentle and loving staff. We felt more reassured each day. He even came home smelling beautiful and clean after a couple of weeks of lots of outdoor play. We highly recommend
KIP are the best, my dog Woody was picked up by Steph KIP transport driver on time and very professional. I received daily updates from KIP - Woody had a blast during Social Play, I highly recommend. Leaving my anxious Labrador, Summer, for her first extended stay for 3 weeks was nerve wracking for me. I was so worried about her but I needn’t have been. The daily photos and videos I received from the team at Kip Mornington reassured me that she was thoroughly enjoying her stay and having the absolute best time with her new doggy friends. Highly recommend Kip Mornington especially if your dog has anxiety or other needs requiring a little bit of TLC and personal attention.

We used Kip Mornington for the first time and they were amazing. I have a reactive dog but they confirmed they could cater for her with solo accomodation, which was very reassuring. The daily updates were fantastic and having solo walk and play options worked really well for us. Her medication was give daily and all the staff were lovely. My dog came home tired and happy. We will definitely use Kip again.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and their communication was top-notch. We received daily updates, which gave us peace of mind knowing that our Lab was not only well cared for, but also enjoying time with other dogs. It’s clear that Kip Mornington truly cares about the pets in their care. We couldn’t be happier with the experience and will definitely be using their services again in the future! Another great stay for Aggie which was a little longer than her last visit. I loved the daily photo and video updates, and I picked up a very tired but happy pup 6 days later. The bushwalks and paddock play are a fantastic option and she was matched well with other dogs of a similar energy level as our 2 year old lab.
Loved that we received photo updates during the day. The first stay somewhere without her late brother was stressing to us, but obviously not for her. Thank you Kip Mornington. See you next time!
I was very nervous about putting my 5yo and 7mnth old into kennels as I have never used kennels before in the 20+years of owning dogs. The welcome was awesome and both dogs happily left me. The daily updates and videos and pics made my stay in hospital amazing. They had so much fun and looked so happy. 10 star if I could
OMG..... Thanks KIP for taking such good care of our 2 Dogs while we were enjoying a mini break. We were so nervous going away as one of our dogz had badly injured his chest and had been put on pain killers, antibiotics and Anti-inflammatory meds and we really struggled to trust other people with giving him his medicines and some cuddles and love in our absence. But the staff at KIP in Pearcedale did all that and more. It was very reassuring and we could see just how happy he was there and the huge open graze was looking better each day in the photo pupdates. We cant thank your staff enough..... Luna and Duke loved their little holiday at your amazing facility and we wont hesitate to use you guys again in future. Keep up the great work. This is how kennels should be run. Purpose built it has heating and air conditioning and piped music to calm the dogs if a thunder storm happens. They also email daily update videos of your dogs activities and let you know of any issues. Highly recommend these guys/girls.
I always recommend Kip Mornington to my family and friends! the staff are so friendly and easy to communicate to. Our dog has been multiple times and always has a blast! The online booking system is so easy to use and the pricing is very affordable! They keep you updated with photo’s and videos of there stay which I love! Our dog always makes plenty of friends when she stays and it’s so nice to see how happy she looks in the photos coming through! They always give our dog a bath before getting picked up which I don’t expect but it’s just another add on that really shows the value for money! I could go on and on about how great I think the team are at Kip Mornington but I’ll just leave it with this, if you are looking for a boarding kennel that have an amazing team who really care about giving your dog a fun and safe stay away from home look no further than Kip Mornington!

The team (especially Adam!) are incredibly accommodating. The care and flexibility they have provided me especially with last-minute bookings so I can be with my terminally ill father has been incredible and has ment I have not needed to worry about Matteo as I know he is very happy here. Plus the daily photo or video updates are incredible and are helpful to know my boy is so happy. Matteo is always so excited to be there – sometimes I even wonder if he'd prefer to live there than with me! The care and attention they provide are top-notch, and it gives me great peace of mind knowing he's in such good hands. Highly recommend!

The dedicated dog lovers at Kip Mornington never disappoint. Our boy is collected from home, cared for while we go away, and returned home clean and happy. Duke has had a couple of short stays, and recently a 4 week stay. I received a daily update (video or photos). He suffers a lot of anxiety, so we were nervous about leaving him for 4 weeks, but Kip Mornington managed his quirks without issue. Highly recommend Kip Mornington when you can't take your doggy with you.
Muffin has so much fun at Kip Mornington (in pearcedale) she doesn't want to leave! The updates they send threw of her days, are the best and give so much relief when leaving your furbaby. Couldn't recommend more!!

What you need to know about your Boarding Visit
As pet pawrents ourselves, we know that leaving your pet for the first time can be stressful! That’s why we’ve created a boarding experience that feels like a true retreat. Every stay includes a comfortable room, daily playtime with our team, free photo /video updates, and premium kibble meals. You’re also welcome to tour the accommodation beforehand for extra peace of mind.
Whether your dog’s racing around our grassy yards or your cat’s lounging in the sun, we’re confident they’ll love their stay.
To ensure everyone’s safety, please make sure that all pets are up to date with all vaccinations, and a certificate must be presented.

Our vaccination policy for pet boarding is as follows:
Vaccination Requirement: Your pet must be vaccinated, and the vaccination must be valid for the entire duration of your pet's stay.
- Puppies may board 10 days after their final puppy vaccines as long as they are C5 or equivalent.
- Kittens may board 10 days after their final kitten vaccines as long as they are F3 or equivalent.
- Dogs must have an up-to-date C5 (or equivalent) vaccination.
- Cats must have an up-to-date F3 vaccination.
10-Day Rule: If your pet's previous vaccination had lapsed by more than 14 days, the new vaccine must be administered at least 10 days before the check-in date.
Vaccination Documentation: You are required to provide proof of your pet’s current vaccination. If your pet is checking in within 10 days of their most recent vaccination, we also require the certificate from their immediate prior vaccination.
We are able to care for pets if they’re not desexed. We do not take dogs in heat across our centres. To the extent your dog comes into heat whilst in our care, we will require an emergency contact to pick them up within 24 hours of being notified. We will not accommodate entire males in the same room as undesexed females.
We provide door-to-door transport from major metro cities for $35 one way. You will be contacted by the driver with an estimated arrival time the day before your booking commences.
Absolutely! Simply contact us directly so our team can organise the best time for you to tour the premises.
Absolutely! For an extra $6/pet/day, we can administer medication to your pets. Please provide all medication in a marked vet bag and provide enough medication for the entire duration of their stay.
We sure can, for an extra fee of $3.50/day! Please provide all required food, clearly marked and labelled. Please inform staff if your dog has any food allergies.
