The team at Kip Hunter valley make the stay for Patch a vacation paradise. He is always so happy and the last time he seemed to take himself to the room forgetting all about us in the reception. The team are so caring and take care of his special needs and his medication. First Things First
Before your pup can join the Kip family, we must ask that they complete a trial day with us. Trial days are required to ensure they’re a good fit for our community and safeguard the well-being of other dogs. All current Kip companions have passed this assessment for dog daycare, ensuring the health and safety of our entire crew. Doggy day care starts with safety - that's a non-negotiable.
Trial Days with Kip
Trial days for daycare are typically held on our quieter days so that your pup can have a calm, gentle introduction to the Kip experience. On this day, we’ll match your dog with a small group of regular members who play well. Once they’ve had a chance to mingle and explore all the puppy playground, we’ll introduce them to other pups. Through previous experience, we’ve developed this method and can support its effectiveness in not overwhelming new furry friends.
What’s Included in Dog Daycare?
A Day in the Life at Kip
A day at Kip starts bright and early at 7 am to give you plenty of time to drop off your pal on the way to work.
As pet owners ourselves, we know that all dogs have different personalities, character traits, likes, and dislikes. To set up the perfect day for your pup, we start by finding a good group fit of friends for every dog, based on size and play style. These groups will be under the careful guidance of our caring staff, who know exactly how to balance a full day of activities and keep it exciting. This makes sure every dog has a great day and comes home as happy as can be, with all pent up energy spent. For us, a happy dog is the ultimate goal for all doggy day care services
The Perfect Place for Your Pet
Your dog’s day is divided into two sessions: morning and afternoon, with quiet time in between to relax, chill and recharge. What’s more, tasty treats are on offer for pets who exhibit good behaviour throughout the day!

How a First Day Trial Works
Step 1: Choose Date
Request your first daycare trial and complete your dog's profile.
Step 2: Arrival
Drop off your dog at Kip before 9am.
Step 3: Settling In
Your dog will slowly be introduced to the daycare group, allowing them to interact with other dogs under close supervision and encouraging positive socialisation.
Step 4: Scheduled Rest Time
Nap time and health checks to reset and recharge before an afternoon of play.
Step 5: Regular Pupdates
Enjoy photo and video updates right to your phone.
Step 6: Home Time
Pick up your dog in the afternoon and our team will talk you through your dog's day and recommendations for future visits.
