Kip offers dog training services for dogs located around the Hunter Region. Our dog training facilities are located at Kip Lake Macquarie, but we often utilise off-site locations to reinforce the new skills that your dog has learnt.

We understand that each dog is unique, which is why our trainers focus on creating programs that suit your dog’s individual personality and learning style. Our offerings include:

• Canine Coaching: Perfect for dogs boarding with us, this program allows you to choose training days for extra enrichment beyond just playtime. It’s perfect for high-energy dogs, or those that love a little extra stimulation.
• Board & Train: Our intensive and most popular program, Board & Train allows your dog to stay with us for 16-25 days. Your dog will work one-on-one with a dedicated trainer to develop important behavioural skills, tailored to the goals you want to achieve that were established in the initial consultation.

Our training programs are designed to help your dog develop life-long skills while feeling confident and supported.

Before starting any training program with Kip in the Hunter Region, it’s essential that your dog is up to date with their C5 (or equivalent) vaccinations, and a current vaccination certificate must be provided. While we can board undesexed dogs, we aren't able to accommodate any female dogs in heat.

Throughout the program, we provide regular updates to keep you informed of your dog’s progress, and we strongly encourage you to practice your dog’s new skills even after they’ve left our locations.

Regular updates throughout the process keep you involved in their journey, and supplementary resources are available so you can supplement your own learning as your dog learns too. We also offer ongoing support after the training is completed, ensuring you and your dog are set up for success once you return home.

The Board & Train program also includes off-site sessions to expose your dog to real-world scenarios, ensuring they can confidently apply their new skills outside our facilities.
