  • Canine Coaching: Perfect for dogs boarding with us, this program allows you to choose training days for extra enrichment beyond just playtime. It’s perfect for high-energy dogs, or those that love a little extra stimulation.
  • Board & Train: Our intensive and most popular program, Board & Train allows your dog to stay with us for 16-25 days. Your dog will work one-on-one with a dedicated trainer to develop important behavioural skills, tailored to the goals you want to achieve that were established in the initial consultation.

Things To Know for Dog Training in the Hunter Region

Before starting any training program with Kip in the Hunter Region, it’s essential that your dog is up to date with their C5 (or equivalent) vaccinations, and a current vaccination certificate must be provided. While we can board undesexed dogs, we aren't able to accommodate any female dogs in heat.

Throughout the program, we provide regular updates to keep you informed of your dog’s progress, and we strongly encourage you to practice your dog’s new skills even after they’ve left our locations.

What vaccinations does my dog need for training?

All dogs need to be up to date with their C5 (or equivalent) vaccinations, and a vaccination certificate is required before any training begins.

Does my dog need to be desexed for training?

No, desexing is not required for training programs, but it’s recommended to discuss any specific needs with our trainers.

We do not take dogs in heat across our centres. To the extent your dog comes into heat whilst in our care, we will require an emergency contact to pick them up within 24 hours of being notified.

Can I get updates on my dog’s progress during training?

Yes, we provide regular updates to ensure you’re always informed about your dog’s progress during their time with us.
