Things To Know for Cat Boarding in Canberra

Before your cat boards with us at Kip, there are a few important things to note. All cats must be up to date with their F3 (or equivalent) vaccinations and flea and worming treatments should be current to ensure a safe environment for all our feline guests. Your cat doesn't need to be desexed, but we don't accept cats in heat across our locations. If they come into heat during their stay, they will need to be picked up either by you or your emergency contact within 24 hours.

We provide everything your cat needs for a comfortable stay, including fresh bedding and toys, so there’s no need to pack personal items from home. Our facilities are designed to offer your cat the ultimate stress-free experience.

What vaccinations does my cat need for boarding at Kip?

Your cat will need to have an up-to-date F3 (or equivalent) vaccination. We’ll need to see a current vaccination certificate before your cat’s stay and you can upload this into your Customer Portal.

We are able to care for pets if they're not desexed however, we do not take cats in heat across our locations. To the extent your cat comes into heat whilst in our care, we will require an emergency contact to pick them up within 24 hours of being notified. We will not accommodate entire males in the same room as undesexed females.

How will I know how my cat is doing?

We believe in keeping you informed throughout your cat’s stay. You’ll receive regular updates via your Customer Portal, so you’re always in the loop on how your cat is settling in and enjoying their time with us.

Can you pick up my cat?

Absolutely! Our pet transport service is available around Canberra and you can add pet transport to your cat’s boarding stay on the online booking process.
