This was our first time boarding our dogs so I was very nervous with how it would go but we had an amazing experience. We got daily updates with photos and videos that really put me at ease. When I picked them up they didn’t even want to come home which I feel says a lot about their experience! As a bonus they were given a bath before we picked them up! Staff were lovely and gave us great feedback about their stay. Really happy with our experience and would definitely use this service again. Thank you to all the staff!
KIP go above and beyond for their customers and pets! The staff are all very lovely and professional when it comes to handling dogs and they treat them as if they are their own. My pups have been there 2x now and they definitely look sad to leave… that shows a lot! Thanks for everything team. Couldn’t recommend enough!!
I recently boarded my dog (American Staffordshire Terrier) at Kip, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. The staff were amazing—friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about the dogs in their care. I especially appreciated the daily videos of my dog's playtime, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. The facilities were spotless and well-maintained, and communication from the team was exceptional throughout the entire stay. I felt completely confident that my dog was in safe and loving hands. I highly recommend Kip to anyone looking for quality boarding services. We'll definitely be returning!

I love this place as does my furkid. From the moment we turn onto Bathurst Street he knows exactly where he is. The staff are amazing, fabulous and absolute dog lovers. Daily videos of my boy complete and excellent experience for both of us and a tired, clean fresh smelling pupper at pickup makes for an easy guilt free holiday
Our eldest has stayed with the team at Kip since he was 7 weeks old (now 6) and his sister Lucy (4) has been there for many visits too. Both get excited when they get onto the road to approach the kennel. They love all that care for them and we feel like they are well cared for. The video and photo updates keep us in touch with our fur babies and it’s amazing to see how much fun they’re having. While the pricing isn’t the cheapest, you feel that your animals are in the best hands with a team of experienced professionals.
My dog had a long stay here and when we got her back, she was happy and healthy. The staff showed love for our dog. This was a different experience that we had had elsewhere so we couldn't be happier. I liked receiving the daily videos. It can get a little pricey, so it would be nice if the daily own food fee could be removed, especially if I pack it and portion it out. Update after our 2nd stay - our dog came back happier than ever. We feel so at ease leaving our girl here. The team loved and cared for our girl and took the time to learn about her. This meant she was able to have social time during her stay with a suitable dog which is more valuable than anything to us. We wont consider boarding our staffy anywhere else

From the first time speaking to Caitlin on phone I knew Kip was the right place to look after our reactive border collie . On arrival staff ( caitlin and Ange) were warm and professional, and I felt confident leaving Ollie in their care. We loved the daily updates and enjoyed our holiday knowing he was in good hands. Highly recommend.
To say we are impressed is an understatement. Our boy George recently stayed at Kip Hunter Valley and he had the best time. The staff are all friendly, professional and highly trained. From the admin and booking team, the lovely driver and the kennel staff, I cannot speak highly enough. Kip Hunter Valley go above and beyond and all the additional things such as videos, photos, social play and report cards made this boarding facility really stand out. Thanks for taking such great care of him, we have already booked again.
Our very first time boarding our 2 doggos and we were very nervous but from our walk through we knew they would be in good hands, The whole team has exceeded our expectations! They took such good care of our girls, We loved the daily videos and photos knowing they were having so much fun put us at ease. Our youngest had her birthday while boarding at kip and they went above and beyond giving her and her sister a little birthday party and treats so so sweet!! The girls came back to us all fresh and clean, They genuinely care for all of the animals they look after and we cannot wait to send the girls back again! Charli and Sasha had the best time Thank you again ❤️

She was super affectionate to the staff when we picked her up, proving just how much she fell in love with everyone there. Can’t wait for our next holiday and Sal can’t either. Thank you to Ange and the team for taking great care of our 2 Havanese over the weekend. They were both so happy at the end of their stay. I commend you on the great and prompt communication as well as the induction tour. We loved the regular photo and video updates of our pups. Clearly they were having fun and feeling loved. We can feel confident to book them in when we need to.
Kip Boarding Hunter Valley has been amazing for our dog, Niko! She had a great time and was very well looked after during her stay. The pick-up and drop-off service was smooth, well-coordinated, and they were kind enough to drop her off right at our doorstep, which we really appreciated. Their portal, where they share updates and videos of your pet, is fantastic—super easy to use and a great way to stay connected while you're away. The booking process was seamless as well, making the whole experience stress-free. A big thank you to Ange and the team for taking such wonderful care of Niko. The staff and facilities at Kip Hunter Valley are great! Our dogs absolutely loved their stay and had so much fun. Special shout out to Ange for her amazing communication during a medical situation with one of our dogs and Caitlyn for giving up her own time to get our dog to an overnight vet and even offering to pay the deposit for his treatment until we could settle things from overseas. I would absolutely recommend this place to anybody looking for a kennel where the dogs are loved on and spoiled every day.
Great peace of mind knowing Gizmo & Arlo were very well looked after and cared for when our family got away for a holiday. Judging from the daily video updates, the boys very much enjoyed their holiday too!!!!!
This is the second time we have used Kip Hunter Valley. They were recommended to us by friends and family. We have a large dog. Her first stay was about 15 months ago for 11 days and we have just had her stay for another 22 day stay through Dec 2024. Both experiences with Kip Hunter Valley have been exceptional. The staff are lovely, they are clearly animal lovers. Bookings and communication with the team is easy and they are responsive. Best of all we received daily videos of our fur baby playing with others, socialising and interacting with the carers. We could clearly see she was having a great time. Although Hunter Valley is a distance from Sydney (pickup and drop-off available) it is definitely worth it for the accommodation and the care they receive. So nice to know she is having a great time while we are.
Maisy and Toby were first timers at KIP Hunter Valley. The staff were very warm, caring, energetic, welcoming and fun. They are doggie focussed and helped Toby (very shy) settle in. The daily activity feeds are great. They have come home in good health and are calm and happy. Thank you to Ange and her team😊🐶🐶❤️
Highly recommend Kip Hunter Valley for dog boarding. I sent my two dogs Magpie and Bandit to Kip Hunter Valley Resort for 8 days in November while I went interstate. When I spoke with the staff on the phone, they were super friendly, informative and accommodating to me, especially with me last minute adding one of the dogs on to be boarded. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!⭐️ When we picked them up they were clean, happy, relaxed, and had clearly developed strong bonds and trust with all of the fabulous staff. Ange & her team have been absolutely life changers for us. Our 2.5 year old Rottweiler has never been minded by anyone prior to his visits with KIP. Ange was so patient with our boy. Most people would look at a 60kg rotty & say it’s too much work. Ange really persisted and patiently grew a solid relationship with our boy which really created such a positive experience. The whole experience has been so inspiring to see how the ladies work with these animals. This kennel is top of the range with quality carers. Our dog went in scared for the first visit and from the experience when he returned was so excited to go back. Previously we had simply never gone away because we didn’t want to leave our boy. Kip has given us a safe haven for our boy for the occasions that we may go on a short trip. We cannot recommend Ange & her team enough. The passion & love for the animals really shines through and we truly feel blessed to have found such amazing, caring people.

Such an amazing place. We placed our 4 month old Golden Retriever in here and she had an absolutely awesome time. Staff were great and super friendly, and treated our girl as if she was family. Video updates were fantastic, showing how much fun our girl was having. Highly recommend!
Cannot recommend this amazing resort more. My partner and I have two inseperable, anxious, BIG dogs that would react to other dogs and new people. The staff were super friendly and a weight was lifted our shoulders seeing how experienced with reactive dogs they were. Having a photo/video sent of my dogs every day kept my mind at ease while away on holiday too. If I could give more stars, I would.
The staff completely at at KIP were incredible with the care of our 6 year dog, who has anxiety issues. She was cared for so professionally and it really was a positive experience for her and put us completely at ease. The space is so great for both dogs and cats and is a very calm environment. We couldn't be happier or more grateful.
This is more like a Hilton hotel dog resort. The workers were soo beautiful and kind and kept us updated with videos throughout our dogs stay. Our golden retriever has anxiety and seemed to absolutely love his stay here.

The staff and facilities at Kip Hunter Valley are great! Our dogs absolutely loved their stay and had so much fun. Special shout out to Ange for her amazing communication during a medical situation with one of our dogs and Caitlyn for giving up her own time to get our dog to an overnight vet and even offering to pay the deposit for his treatment until we could settle things from overseas. I would absolutely recommend this place to anybody looking for a kennel where the dogs are loved on and spoiled every day.

The staff are lovely, they are clearly animal lovers. Bookings and communication with the team is easy and they are responsive. Best of all we received daily videos of our fur baby playing with others, socialising and interacting with the carers. We could clearly see she was having a great time. Although Hunter Valley is a distance from Sydney (pickup and drop-off available) it is definitely worth it for the accommodation and the care they receive. So nice to know she is having a great time while we are.
Maisy and Toby were first timers at KIP Hunter Valley. The staff were very warm, caring, energetic, welcoming and fun. They are doggie focussed and helped Toby (very shy) settle in. The daily activity feeds are great. They have come home in good health and are calm and happy. Thank you to Ange and her team😊🐶🐶❤️

Getting your pet chauffeured from Sydney
To facilitate our exceptional pet boarding services for Sydneysiders, Kip offer transportation from the city out to our Hunter Valley and Lake Macquarie retreat.
Our pet chauffeur service takes the stress away from having to organize another trip on top of your getaway. Your pet will be collected from your home and travel to our pet hotel in the Hunter Region in the comfort of a fully air-conditioned van. A Kip crew member will accompany your pet to keep them comfortable and secure throughout their journey - whether it be dog boarding Sydney or for cat boarding. When it’s time to return home in Sydney, we’ll personally drop your happy family member back to your door.
Pick-ups are always completed in the morning, typically between 6-9:30am for the Sydney Region, and between 7-10am for the local Hunter/Newcastle region.

Sydney pet escapes start at $73 a day for dogs and $37 a day for cats for the classic rooms. Our doggy luxury villa at Kip Hunter Valley starts at $95 per day. All bookings require a deposit.
Pet siblings are more than welcome at Kip! We offer discounts for pets from the same family. Please look at the specific dates you are looking for to confirm the pricing for the period.
Our experienced and caring pet hotel Sydney staff will ensure that your dog's or cat's needs are taken care of just as they would at home. Simply pack your pet’s medication in a labelled container and let our team know. We’ll deliver the medication to your specifications. We charge $5 a day for the preparation and administration of medication under our care.
The happiness of your cat or dog is our priority. If you would prefer, you are more than welcome to bring your own pet food. If you do elect to bring your own food, ensure that it is labelled correctly.
