Kip Adelaide Hills is nestled on acres of beautiful grounds, including green play yards and adventurous bushwalking trails. It’s the perfect and serene option for that staycation away from the city.
Monday-Friday: 8:00-11:00am, 2:00-5:00pm
Saturday: 8:00-11:00am
Sunday: 2:00-5:00pm
Public Holidays: as advised
We offer door-to-door transport Adelaide-wide. This service is run Monday to Friday (subject to availability) and is not offered on public holidays. This service can be added as part of the booking process and takes the stress out of getting your pet to or from their holiday.

For anyone experiencing nerves or anxiety around leaving their fur-baby with someone else for an extended period of time... Fear not. We were nervous about leaving our pup for the first time, and the team at Kip Adelaide Hills Dog Boarding did an absolutely amazing job looking after our girl - The 'pupdates' Kip send through for you to receive each day became a highlight of our holiday... getting to see how much fun all the dogs are having in their playgroup, making friends and playing together, further alleviated any concerns we had that she might be scared, timid, or missing us. Our pup came home happy, and entirely worn out! She's settled straight back into her home routine with zero issues. Moving forward, knowing that Kip is an option for us now frees us up further for future family holidays. We absolutely recommend Kip Adelaide Hills Dog Boarding for anyone searching for doggy vacation care - and we'll definitely be using them again in the future.

We were concerned about leaving our 5 year old border collie in kennels as she is very timid. Her stay at Kip allayed all our concerns as she was so well looked after, and we received photo updates daily showing she was in a group of dogs that she was comfortable with. She was happy to see us when we collected her but was relaxed and not pulling to get out and home. We would definitely use Kip again.
I’ve taken my boisterous golden retriever Buck to Kip twice now and I am so happy and relieved to have found a top tier boarding facility. Buck bangs on the door to get in! Lovely staff and they are very accepting and patient with Buck who is extremely strong willed and quite the handful if I’m being honest!

Exceptional. Our German shepherd Axel had an extended stay at Kip Adelaide Hills whilst we were overseas; his first time boarding at a kennel. The team took wonderful care of Axel, navigated his eccentricities deftly & sent adorable daily updates. Knowing he was in good hands allowed us to relax & enjoy a big family holiday. Since returning, Axel has slipped straight back into his home routine with no issues. We are incredibly impressed with this team & it’s given us the confidence to book more adventures where travel with a pet just isn’t possible. A big thanks from our family to yours!

This was my first time sending my baby to a boarding pet hotel, and let me tell you—I had full-on separation anxiety while my fur baby was probably living his best life 😜. And I was right! They turned his stay into a full-blown vacation. My baby came back happy, spoiled, and acting like he just returned from a mini holiday getaway. Highly recommend for pets who deserve a little luxury vacation… and for anxious parents like me!”
Absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending KIP Adelaide Hills Dog Boarding! Our border collie has just completed an extended stay (approx 2.5 months) as we organised our house for sale & moved. The staff were absolutely brilliant, so friendly & it was obvious from day one that they genuinely care for the well being & experience of your loved one. We typically visited every weekend so we could spend time with our boy & every time was a five star experience. Highly recommend for short or long stays & our situation had a few variables in terms of length of expected stay, but thanks to the wonderful staff nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much for the amazing care & love you provided to Kobe during his stay, will definitely be back next time we need to find somewhere for him to stay.

Highly recommend Kip Adelaide Hills for dog boarding. The process of booking online was easy & the entry requirements (eg: vaccination) clear & thorough. As a first time user, I took the opportunity to visit for an inspection of the facility & found the staff members welcoming & knowledgeable. They put my mind at rest that my beloved pet was in good hands. During the stay we looked forward to the active camera feed which gave us great peace-of-mind: we could see that our dog was happy & interacting well with other dogs. When we collected her at the end of her stay, the carers had genuinely connected with her & gave her big pats goodbye - you could see that they liked their work. They were able to provide feedback on how she had settled in. Altogether it was a positive experience & we would not hesitate to board her again with Kip Adelaide Hills if the need arose.

Franklin had such a great time at Kip Adelaide Hills! You can see from the photo how happy he was hanging out with his new buddies. Getting daily photo updates was such a nice touch — it made it so much easier to be away from him, knowing he was being looked after and having fun. Really appreciate the care the team gave him. The girls were amazing, my first time using these guy's. Word's can not explain how stoked I was, awesome retreat up in the hills, I know Adelaide and where they have their boarding kennel's I wish I could have stayed lol. My boy had an absolute ball. I dropped him off once they took his lead he was like yeah see ya dad, no goodbye nothing couldn't wait to mix with the other dog's. I'm very protective over my boy, and kip didn't dissappoint. From the daily pictures of him running around with other dog's. I would highly recommend them. I will definitely be taking Diesel back to stay with them. When I finally got home he didn't moved for a day, he was knackered lol 😆. From where I live it was an hour away, but would gladly do it again many times over, knowing he is good hands and having a great time. Thank you so much for taking care of him Kip Adelaide Hills
Always miss my doggies whilst im away and seeing the daily pictures (and occasionally videos) of them loving life makes it all better. Absolutely amazing Kennel, last time we boarded they were concerned about one of my dogs fussiness with foods so switched her to the upgraded brown rice and cooked chicken option free of charge! Very evidently a staff full of proper dog lovers, can highly reccomend, dogs always come home from the Kennel healthy, washed, and tired out from all the play and fun they've had!

During the stay we looked forward to the active camera feed which gave us great peace-of-mind: we could see that our dog was happy & interacting well with other dogs. When we collected her at the end of her stay, the carers had genuinely connected with her & gave her big pats goodbye - you could see that they liked their work. They were able to provide feedback on how she had settled in. Altogether it was a positive experience & we would not hesitate to board her again with Kip Adelaide Hills if the need arose.
Highly recommend the Kip Adelaide hills boarding. Not only is it very clear to me that my dogs love going there and have the best time. But i also feel very comfortable leaving my babies with them. There is so much space for them to run around and if you want to spoil your dog a bit more they have some great options available. The daily updates with pictures of my dogs having a great time are a lovely touch and help make me feel good about giving them an exciting holiday whilst I am off doing the same.

Franklin had such a great time at Kip Adelaide Hills! You can see from the photo how happy he was hanging out with his new buddies. Getting daily photo updates was such a nice touch — it made it so much easier to be away from him, knowing he was being looked after and having fun. Really appreciate the care the team gave him. Would definitely recommend Kip to anyone needing a place for their pup to stay!
The girls were amazing, my first time using these guy's. Word's can not explain how stoked I was, awesome retreat up in the hills, I know Adelaide and where they have their boarding kennel's I wish I could have stayed lol. My boy had an absolute ball. I dropped him off once they took his lead he was like yeah see ya dad, no goodbye nothing couldn't wait to mix with the other dog's. I'm very protective over my boy, and kip didn't dissappoint. From the daily pictures of him running around with other dog's. I would highly recommend them. I will definitely be taking Diesel back to stay with them. When I finally got home he didn't moved for a day, he was knackered lol 😆. From where I live it was an hour away, but would gladly do it again many times over, knowing he is good hands and having a great time. Thank you so much for taking care of him Kip Adelaide Hills
Always miss my doggies whilst im away and seeing the daily pictures (and occasionally videos) of them loving life makes it all better. Absolutely amazing Kennel, last time we boarded they were concerned about one of my dogs fussiness with foods so switched her to the upgraded brown rice and cooked chicken option free of charge! Very evidently a staff full of proper dog lovers, can highly reccomend, dogs always come home from the Kennel healthy, washed, and tired out from all the play and fun they've had!

The staff at the reception are very friendly, professional and supportive while eager to serve you and receiving the pet for boarding. We were to drop off our son’s greyhound “Spot” for 5 days . He had been at Kip earlier and the staff recognised him. He was very excited to be at Kip. Overall the experience was really great!
My 2 Tibetan Mastiffs stayed with Kip whilst I was visiting family in Adelaide. I cannot recommend this place enough!! The owner and staff went above and beyond with care and communication, I was so pleased to get daily updates with pictures and reassurance my doggies were happy. I have boarded my dogs in care in Melbourne and they had reservations due to the size and breed of my dogs. Kip in the Adelaide Hills was the complete opposite, they know how to look after and interact with large breeds like I haven’t experienced in other places. My doggie’s warmed to the staff straight away and we’re so happy. I’m so grateful and thankful to have found such a caring and lovely boarding for my dogs when I’m visiting Adelaide. Can’t thank them enough for caring for my dogs so well. Highly highly recommended!!!

What you need to know about your Boarding Visit
As pet pawrents ourselves, we know that leaving your pet for the first time can be stressful! That’s why we’ve created a boarding experience that feels like a true retreat. Every stay includes a comfortable room, daily playtime with our team, free photo /video updates, and premium kibble meals. You’re also welcome to tour the accommodation beforehand for extra peace of mind.
Whether your dog’s racing around our grassy yards or your cat’s lounging in the sun, we’re confident they’ll love their stay.
To ensure everyone’s safety, please make sure that all pets are up to date with all vaccinations, and a certificate must be presented.

Our vaccination policy for pet boarding is as follows:
Vaccination Requirement: Your pet must be vaccinated, and the vaccination must be valid for the entire duration of your pet's stay.
- Puppies may board 10 days after their final puppy vaccines as long as they are C5 or equivalent.
- Kittens may board 10 days after their final kitten vaccines as long as they are F3 or equivalent.
- Dogs must have an up-to-date C5 (or equivalent) vaccination.
- Cats must have an up-to-date F3 vaccination.
10-Day Rule: If your pet's previous vaccination had lapsed by more than 14 days, the new vaccine must be administered at least 10 days before the check-in date.
Vaccination Documentation: You are required to provide proof of your pet’s current vaccination. If your pet is checking in within 10 days of their most recent vaccination, we also require the certificate from their immediate prior vaccination.
We are able to care for pets if they’re not desexed. We do not take dogs in heat across our centres. To the extent your dog comes into heat whilst in our care, we will require an emergency contact to pick them up within 24 hours of being notified. We will not accommodate entire males in the same room as undesexed females.
We provide door-to-door transport from major metro cities for $35 one way. You will be contacted by the driver with an estimated arrival time the day before your booking commences.
Absolutely! Simply contact us directly so our team can organise the best time for you to tour the premises.
Absolutely! For an extra $6/pet/day, we can administer medication to your pets. Please provide all medication in a marked vet bag and provide enough medication for the entire duration of their stay.
We sure can, for an extra fee of $3.50/day! Please provide all required food, clearly marked and labelled. Please inform staff if your dog has any food allergies.
