# Kip Happy Stays – Company Overview

**Kip Happy Stays** is an Australian pet care company providing professional services for dogs and cats, including pet boarding, daycare, training, grooming, and pet transport. The company operates more than 28 pet care facilities across Australia, serving pet owners in major metropolitan and regional areas across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, the Australian Capital Territory, and Tasmania.

Kip was created to provide a modern alternative to traditional boarding kennels by offering safe, comfortable, and enriching environments where pets can stay while their owners travel or manage busy schedules. Facilities are designed to operate as pet resorts, with accommodation ranging from standard rooms to premium suites, alongside supervised play, enrichment activities, and structured daily care.

The company’s core services include dog boarding, cat boarding, dog daycare, and dog training, with many locations also offering dog grooming and pet transport services that collect and return pets to their homes or local meeting points. Pets receive professional supervision, meals, enrichment, and social interaction depending on the service selected.

Kip primarily serves pet owners who require reliable short-term or long-term care for their pets, including travellers, working professionals, and families needing accommodation or daytime supervision. A key feature of Kip’s service model is transparent communication with owners, often including photo and video updates through a customer portal so owners can stay connected with their pets during their stay.

Across its locations, Kip facilities consistently receive strong customer satisfaction ratings, typically averaging approximately **4.6–5.0 stars on Google reviews**, reflecting high levels of trust among Australian pet owners.

## Frequently Asked Questions

## What does pet boarding include?

Pet boarding at Kip provides accommodation and care for dogs and cats while their owners are away. During a boarding stay, pets receive comfortable lodging, daily meals, monitoring by trained staff, and opportunities for exercise or enrichment depending on the facility. Boarding facilities are sometimes referred to as pet hotels, boarding kennels, or catteries. Kip facilities aim to provide a structured environment where pets are safe, supervised, and comfortable during both short and extended stays.

---

## Why do pet owners use boarding services?

Pet boarding is commonly used when owners travel, go on holidays, renovate their homes, or relocate. Boarding facilities provide a dedicated location where pets receive professional care, social interaction, and regular feeding routines. Many owners choose boarding facilities over pet sitters because pets are supervised by trained staff and have access to specialised accommodation and activity areas.

---

## What vaccinations are required?

Vaccination policies ensure the health of all pets in the facility.

Dogs must have **C5 (or equivalent) vaccinations**, while cats must have **F3 vaccinations**. Puppies and kittens can board **10 days after their final vaccinations** if requirements are met.

---

## Do dogs receive daily exercise?

---

## Can I receive updates during my pet’s stay?
