Whether your dog is reactive on the lead, aggressive toward other dogs, or struggling with fear-based behaviours, you're in the right place.

I got my dog from the pound 2 years ago, since then I have been through 4 professional trainers, because he was so reactive to other animals, but in the end I gave up. I heard about Kip and decided to give them a chance, and the result after the 3 week course was worth the money, he was taught all the basic skills he needs, so now I only have to build on the skills that they taught us. Really happy with the team at Kip.
A Specialist Approach to Reactivity and Aggression
Reactivity and aggression are driven by emotion, not disobedience. That's why our approach is built specifically for these behaviours. We work with what's driving your dog's reactions, at the right pace for your dog, and build the skills to make calmer behaviour stick.

We firstly assess exactly what triggers your dog
Every reactive dog has a specific trigger to behave aggressive or reactive.

We help change how your dog feels, not just how they behave
We address the root cause, rather than just trying to force behaviour change.

We help reshape how your dog sees their triggers
This one skill changes walks more than anything else.

We help over-aroused dogs learn to calm themselves
Simple exercises bring your dog's nervous system back to baseline.

We help set your dog's environment up for success
The right gear and routines stop your dog practising the wrong behaviour every day.

We help coach you for the moments that matter
You learn the handler skills to manage real situations with confidence.

Percy's Training Journey with Kip
See What Other Dog Owners Say
Our four year old American staffy Teddy was easily excitable, anxious and reactive to other dogs and cars, and was extremely challenging to walk. Teddy attended Kip’s three week board and train program and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
Popcorn used to be very reactive to everything, but we can already see a huge improvement in his behavior.
Before this point we were so concerned to leave the house with our reactive German Shepherd after a traumatic experience. We could not be more pleased with the results not only with our dogs general disposition but with our own self confidence handling him.
We were at breaking point with our reactive bulldog Wilma. The three week training program has really helped. It is a big financial investment but the staff and trainers were extremely knowledgeable and professional. Recommend.
Moby came in was very reactive and we needed a better understanding on how to control certain situations. We came back to seeing moby being in close distances to other dogs and learnt more on how to make Moby a happier dog.
Murphy was behind on his training, socialisation and was very reactive. We have now settled in back at home. Everyone cannot believe how good he is now on loose lead, healing and generally paying attention.
My German Shepherd Rambo did the board and train program and has vastly improved holistically. Meg set new foundations building upon his current level of understanding. Didn’t expect to get a perfect dog from this, but the foundations that were set ensured Rambo was set up for success!
This place is where magic happens! The day I took him home after his training I was shocked by how he was calm, less of a menace and actually listens to what we say.

FAQs
In most cases, yes. Reactivity is driven by emotion, not disobedience, and with the right approach it can be significantly reduced. Our programs are built specifically for this, not adapted from general obedience training.
We hear this a lot. Most general training programs aren't designed for reactivity. Our approach addresses what's driving the behaviour emotionally, not just the behaviour itself.
Our standard Board and Train program runs 21 days. Some dogs with more complex behaviours benefit from a longer program of 25-30 days. Our trainers will recommend the right length after an initial assessment.
You receive a comprehensive in-person handover where you will get a chance to go over the skills your dog learnt during the program, so you feel confident continuing at home. You also get a complimentary follow-up session one month after the program, plus access to ongoing support from your trainer.
We work with a wide range of behaviours including severe reactivity and aggression. Complete the enquiry form and our trainer will let you know if our program is the right fit.
