Our cattery is a dedicated space, completely separate from dog boarding and our team gets to know each guest individually. Whether your cat takes a day to warm up or hits the ground running, they're in hands that know the difference.

I emailed after the first night to get a more detailed update (stressed doggy mum and dad) and received a quick and very detailed response. Being able to drop them off at a closer location and have them collected from there was so helpful as I wouldn’t have been able to get them to the boarding kennels with work. The report card and Polaroid photo of them on pick up was such a cute touch, this is now on our fridge. You can tell the staff genuinely care about the pets that they look after, will absolutely be using again in future when needed!

I was reluctant to travel overseas due to concern for my 2 pups who are like children to me and my husband. After numerous research we decided on Kip and cannot be more pleased with our decision. I received daily photos and updates, sometimes twice a day, and it was clear that my pups were thoroughly enjoying their stay. They looked so happy that I said to my husband that I’m worried they might not want to come home 😂. My dogs are not the easiest as they don’t get along with strange dogs but the lady at Kip ensured that they were kept seperate and received lots of love and cuddles. She also spent one on one time with them in their room when it was raining. She was really amazing and my pups adored her. The accomodation could not have been any better, they had comfy beds and a Tv, all the luxuries they have at home. They loved their regular walks in the bush and I could not stop smiling whilst watching the videos of them exploring and searching for rabbits. On the day that we collected our pups we were given a rapport card and a photo on how they performed during their stay. It was such a special touch and I was overwhelmed reading the beautiful comments. Thank you to everyone at Kip and especially the lady that took such amazing care of Coco and Frankie, I will definitely return and highly recommend Kip to anyone that might be hesitant to leave their pups with anyone else. I have tried other dog resorts previously and have not had the same great experiences. Kip loves animals as much as you love your pups 🐶

Oh MY LORD- I got my two babies back - BETTER THAN HOW I SENT THEM TO YOU LOVE 💙 is a mummy’s boy who was anxious about everything I do… but now sits and watches me and walkes calmly… it’s like he’s experienced something better and wonders why’s he back in our cramped one bedroom apartment… And Luna- well little Miss Independence is not grumpy 😡 and she’s out asking for cuddles and food- she’s got gumption! Our first time ever boarding our two Bichons, and as a very nervous dog parent, I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at ease — they are true dog people who genuinely care. The facility is fantastic, set close to nature with plenty of space, making it both comfortable and enriching for all the pups. Most importantly, our boys were happy, settled, and clearly well cared for throughout their stay. We absolutely loved receiving daily photo and video updates, which made such a difference and gave us so much reassurance that they were having a great time. You could really see the attention, patience, and love the team gives to every pup. We picked up two very happy pups and wouldn’t hesitate to board them again at Kip Melbourne West. Highly recommend — especially for fellow nervous first-timers!

We are so glad that our puppy Akio had his first kennel experience at KIP Melbourne West. We really like for him to socialise and have friends of his own age (6 months old) because he does not have any playmate because most of my friends dogs are all seniors now. KIP was able to give Akio that kind of experience looking at the awesome photos and videos they sent us. Thank you KIP and Akio is looking forward to come back this weekend.

Our beautiful Viszla Nala just finished a 5 week stay and absolutely loved it. She can be a bit high maintenance but the team here were amazing. The daily photos mean you can relax and enjoy your holiday knowing your other family is safe and happy. Communication throughout was great too. We won’t ever look elsewhere. We love this team!!

Oh MY LORD- I got my two babies back - BETTER THAN HOW I SENT THEM TO YOU LOVE 💙 is a mummy’s boy who was anxious about everything I do… but now sits and watches me and walkes calmly… it’s like he’s experienced something better and wonders why’s he back in our cramped one bedroom apartment… And Luna- well little Miss Independence is not grumpy 😡 and she’s out asking for cuddles and food- she’s got gumption! I’m definitely going to be booking them in for regular CAMP-outs with KIP WEST

Our first time ever boarding our two Bichons, and as a very nervous dog parent, I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at ease — they are true dog people who genuinely care. The facility is fantastic, set close to nature with plenty of space, making it both comfortable and enriching for all the pups. Most importantly, our boys were happy, settled, and clearly well cared for throughout their stay. We absolutely loved receiving daily photo and video updates, which made such a difference and gave us so much reassurance that they were having a great time. You could really see the attention, patience, and love the team gives to every pup. We picked up two very happy pups and wouldn’t hesitate to board them again at Kip Melbourne West. Highly recommend — especially for fellow nervous first-timers!

We had such a wonderful experience with Kip while our GSD stayed for just over two weeks. From day one, the team were incredibly warm, welcoming, and reassuring, which made the transition so much easier for both us and our dog. We really appreciated the daily updates, as it gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was settling in and being cared for. You can genuinely tell how much they care about the pets in their care. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again and highly recommend.

From the moment my fur baby was picked up, to his drop off back at our house, Kip was exceptional. It was obvious that the staff love their jobs and the animals they care for. In the daily photos that I was sent, my cat looked comfortable and well cared for. I was so happy to see him snuggling up with his carers and relaxing on his very own cat balcony! I will definitely be using Kip again.

But now we have found Kip. We have found some freedom to be able to travel again. The collection and drop off was amazingly smooth and easy. Our dogs were returned. Healthy. Clean.
