Board & Train
From $149/day
2-3 Week Program. Designed for dogs with more complex behaviour challenges.
Your dog stays with us for 21 days and works closely with our trainers each day to build better habits, confidence, and control. This is ideal for dogs struggling with reactivity, anxiety, or more difficult behaviours that need consistent, hands-on support.
We’ll keep you updated throughout the stay and guide you through everything at handover so you feel confident continuing at home.
Behaviour examples that may be addressed:
- Reactivity (dogs or people)
- Anxiety or low confidence
- Pulling or difficult walks
- Over-arousal or poor impulse control
Our trainers will guide you on the most suitable program and length. Some behaviours require additional time (25-30 days) to work through effectively.

We recently booked our 2yr old Spoodle pup Moose in for an overnight stay. Being a spoilt inside dog, who actually thinks he is human, we were a bit apprehensive with how he would go. KIP sent us pictures of Moose during he's stay and he looked very content. Moose stayed in one of the heated suites. He was very happy when we collected him and the KIP team were super friendly. We will be going back for more stays. Moose slept very well when he got home, he was totally exhausted. Thanks KIP Queanbeyan/Canberra
- [ ] I got my dog from the pound 2 years ago, since then I have been through 4 professional trainers, because he was so reactive to other animals, but in the end I gave up. I heard about Kip and decided to give them a chance, and the result after the 3 week course was worth the money, he was taught all the basic skills he needs, so now I only have to build on the skills that they taught us. Really happy with the team at Kip.
Great communication with daily updates helped ease any anxieties. I can tell our fur baby was happy as he slept all the way home. Having the little post stay information pack was lovely. It made us feel like he was really well looked after, safe and happy. I would recommend Kip to family and friends.

Boarded my dog at Kip Pet Boarding Canberra, and it was fantastic! My pup returned thrilled, tail wagging, clearly loved. The facility is clean, cozy, so accommodating, but Sian and her team make it exceptional. Sian, the manager, is warm, genuine, and a dog expert! I received spot-on tips and funny updates about my pup’s antics. The whole team is caring and attentive, treating every dog like family. My pup couldn’t wait to see them at pickup! Can’t wait to return—Sian and her crew are amazing! 🐶

I have been using the team at Kip Canberra for all our pet "resort" care needs. Both dogs love to visit for a weekend or a week (or two) too. The service from all staff members has always been fantastic. We love the regular photo updates posted by the carers, they always appear to be having a great time. Daily play time and bushwalks keep them entertained and engaged. They were looking and smelling great after Kip Care, unexpectedly, bathed them, at their last visit, too. Thanks Kip Canberra for looking after our furry family members.

We sent our dog to Kip Canberra for the 3 week training program. He's a sweet boy and tries hard, but at 40kg of pure muscle when his puppy excitement kicked in he was too much to handle. We tried our best to train him at home, but he needed that extra attention to get him over the line. We picked him up two weeks ago and he is a changed man. He walks so politely and really listens when we give him direction. Money well spent for a happy life with our Duke.
I am a regular customer who is always so grateful for the care and consideration the team show Madly and myself. I can not recommend their services enough! They are passionate about what they do and it shows!

We still have a long way to go but the initial training with Kip has set us up and we have been going back for follow up sessions. My dog was very content
Picked up Maxxy yesterday after a boarding and training stay. The training he received was awesome and I feel it’s set us up for long term success. We go back next week for a follow up training session and I know I can reach out to the trainers any time. I’m really happy and excited to continue learning with Maxxy and the Kip trainers.
I have been bringing my cat to Kip since he was a kitten, he always comes home happy, not stressed and at a healthy weight. The staff treat each animal like they are their own. We will always keep coming back.
It is so rewarding to be able to leave Harley at Kip Canberra knowing he is safe and being loved on by the staff there. Would happily leave Harley with them again. And I have a stress free holiday with pup updates too
Our Bittany Spaniel, Lucy, had her first stay at Kip Canberra over the new year and to say we were impressed is an understatement. The staff are amazing and I highly recommend to anyone who is uncertain of where to board their pooch. Brilliant!!!

We had to attend a wedding out of town and although we didn't want to leave our very senior dog we felt assured his stay in the senior suite would be comfortable. The crew at Kip provide genuine loving care. Our junior dog also got all the attention she needed and had fun which the pics sent to us showed. Thank you.

We left our two much beloved fur babies (1 canine and 1 feline) for five weeks in the care of the very capable and diligent staff at Kip Queanbeyan. The staff noted our dog was not eating as well as expected so this was communicated to me with a proposed plan which worked a treat. Every couple of days I would receive an email with photographs of both pets and their antics which was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend Kip Queanbeyan and their beautiful staff.
Our anxious pup came back happy and relaxed- not a small thing for her! Both our babies were so well cared for by people who really understand animals. As nervous pet parents who had never put our babies in kennels before, I felt so happy knowing they were safe and cared for. These guys are amazing.
An excellent facility. This is the 2nd time our dog has stayed here and each time he has been happy. The staff are lovely, and so wonderful with the animals.
My furrages love Kip. I travel randomly (work, family etc) and they have always been able to help us in times of need. My furries need medications at odd hours and small regular meals because of medical issues. The team at Kip have been able to help. Great experience. Totally recommend
Left my Rottweiler, Cato, at Kip Canberra for 2 months and I can’t express enough my appreciation and praise for how well they looked after him. I didn’t have to worry as I know he is in good hands. He came back home with me happy and healthy. Thank you to everyone at Kip for looking after him! He missed you guys!
I cannot overstate how happy I have been with Kip Canberra and their services! They had my American Staffy, Odin, who can be quite a handful (to say the least). Kip had Odin for nearly a month, I couldn’t be happier. I was kept thoroughly informed of how he was doing with both regular photos, and email communications. Sian, Loui and the team did exceptionally well to manage Odin’s behaviour and were very transparent with how they handled and worked with him! Odin has returned an incredibly happy, but also as a very well behaved dog. I cannot recommend Kip enough! Full marks!

An excellent facility. This is the 2nd time our dog has stayed here and each time he has been happy. The staff are lovely, and so wonderful with the animals.
My furrages love Kip. I travel randomly (work, family etc) and they have always been able to help us in times of need. My furries need medications at odd hours and small regular meals because of medical issues. The team at Kip have been able to help. Great experience. Totally recommend
Left my Rottweiler, Cato, at Kip Canberra for 2 months and I can’t express enough my appreciation and praise for how well they looked after him. I didn’t have to worry as I know he is in good hands. He came back home with me happy and healthy. Thank you to everyone at Kip for looking after him! He missed you guys!
I cannot overstate how happy I have been with Kip Canberra and their services! They had my American Staffy, Odin, who can be quite a handful (to say the least). Kip had Odin for nearly a month, I couldn’t be happier. I was kept thoroughly informed of how he was doing with both regular photos, and email communications. Sian, Loui and the team did exceptionally well to manage Odin’s behaviour and were very transparent with how they handled and worked with him! Odin has returned an incredibly happy, but also as a very well behaved dog. I cannot recommend Kip enough! Full marks!

My dog was very content
Picked up Maxxy yesterday after a boarding and training stay. The training he received was awesome and I feel it’s set us up for long term success. We go back next week for a follow up training session and I know I can reach out to the trainers any time. I’m really happy and excited to continue learning with Maxxy and the Kip trainers.
I have been bringing my cat to Kip since he was a kitten, he always comes home happy, not stressed and at a healthy weight. The staff treat each animal like they are their own. We will always keep coming back.
It is so rewarding to be able to leave Harley at Kip Canberra knowing he is safe and being loved on by the staff there. Would happily leave Harley with them again. And I have a stress free holiday with pup updates too
Our Bittany Spaniel, Lucy, had her first stay at Kip Canberra over the new year and to say we were impressed is an understatement. The staff are amazing and I highly recommend to anyone who is uncertain of where to board their pooch. Brilliant!!!

We had to attend a wedding out of town and although we didn't want to leave our very senior dog we felt assured his stay in the senior suite would be comfortable. The crew at Kip provide genuine loving care. Our junior dog also got all the attention she needed and had fun which the pics sent to us showed. Thank you.

Have used Kip several times and more than happy to recommend. My boys are never stressed to go there and the staff are brilliant .
We left our two much beloved fur babies (1 canine and 1 feline) for five weeks in the care of the very capable and diligent staff at Kip Queanbeyan. The staff noted our dog was not eating as well as expected so this was communicated to me with a proposed plan which worked a treat. Every couple of days I would receive an email with photographs of both pets and their antics which was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend Kip Queanbeyan and their beautiful staff.
Our anxious pup came back happy and relaxed- not a small thing for her! Both our babies were so well cared for by people who really understand animals. As nervous pet parents who had never put our babies in kennels before, I felt so happy knowing they were safe and cared for. These guys are amazing.
