If I could give 10 stars I would. Kip North Adelaide is without doubt one of the best boarding facilities I have ever found. The whole experience from booking right through to picking up your fur-babies is flawless. These people are demonstrably aware that you are handing over a family member into their care and they take that responsibility very seriously. The grounds are well cared for and spotless. The accommodation areas are exactly the same. The rates are more than reasonable but it is the level and dedication to care that is truly outstanding. You even get daily photos of your fur-babies (on a dedicated portal) having fun during their stay. On my first visit, and on the morning before afternoon pick up, my two babies had a scuffle, with my Frenchie being injured (nothing too awful). She was immediately cleaned up, her wounds given initial first aid and both dogs assessed. I was called and informed immediately after that and told what was wrong. She was then taken to their local vet for treatment. By the time I picked them up later that day, she was fine (a couple of puncture wounds). She came back to me with full care instructions and sufficient medications for her recovery. The bill was not exorbitant either and it was a Sunday. Both my girls had also been bathed prior to their scuffle. Dogs will be dogs but the way this minor emergency was handled confirms my fur-babies are in the very best of hands when I have to board them. In subsequent visits, their knowledge of what has happened in the past has seen them adjust how they are boarded to mitigate any future risks. That’s being proactive and beyond professional.. All the staff are very friendly and wonderful with the fur-babies and their “parents” but a big shout out to Skye, the manager, who is outstanding and clearly leads by example. I cannot recommend Kip North Adelaide highly enough.

We have been using Kip for over 10 years, originally they were named Penfield and now they are Kip. The same lovely people are there and the facilities are outstanding. We particularly like Kip because their check in process is so simple. They remember their returning customers and their staff are very friendly, courteous and polite. Also, they keep essential details on file which makes it very easy to process bookings if you are a returning customer. There's no need to produce vaccination certificates on the day of drop off as they operate in the modern world where they will allow you to email a copy of the certificate in advance of your drop-off. This is something other kennels like Hedgegrove don't do, but it makes a massive difference. We have big dogs and we particularly like Kip because of the huge spaces they have available for dog exercise. Again, unlike kennels like Hedgegrove, they don't charge an arm and a leg for added on-sell features to exercise the dog during the stay and the onsite exercise yards means your fur baby has lots of room to run and exercise its legs, whilst also meeting other fun and friendly pals. I highly recommend these guys for your cats and dogs.

Cannot recommend this team enough. The past couple of months have been trying for our family with border closures stranding us interstate. We have now relocated interstate but the process has been made a lot easier knowing our dog is so well cared for. He spent a good few weeks at the kennel while we were away and then 7 days whilst we awaited his transfer to QLD. No issues at all and everything went so smoothly.

Huge thank you to Penfield Kennels for the service and care for our fur babies!! We left our 3 cats and dog at Penfield Kennels while we were moving interstate and they were extremely wonderful to deal with. They were very flexible with collection dates and they helped organise our dog to go to the vet for a checkup while we were relocating. They also kept in contact with us on our pets' wellbeing and the babies came home happy, healthy and clean. Being away from the pets was very difficult and the level of care they gave was next level! They really made a difficult time easier for us

I have been using Penefield Boarding Kennels & Cattery since December 2011. They have had my dogs with them for 4 weeks, then 2 weeks at a time. Sadly Arnie and Missy are no longer with me they have gone to doggie heaven but they always came home happy and in good condition. I then got Tyson and he also has been with them for a 2 week stay over and just did 4 weeks in August and every time I go to pick him up he looks amazing. He is booked in again for a 6 day stay at the end of the month. I have no hesitation in recommending them, you will not be disappointed. Worth the money and reasonable rates. Good job guys keep up the loving.

Just spoke to Carol and she has made sure my girls will be well looked after and that we can pick them up at the appropriate time before we fly out a few days after for our move to Queensland. The boss is very accomodating and I am so greatful for their help and service. I am not nervous about placing my two girls (cats) in their care :) thank you so much for helping us out and I look forward to meeting your team!
