I got my dog from the pound 2 years ago, since then I have been through 4 professional trainers, because he was so reactive to other animals, but in the end I gave up. I heard about Kip and decided to give them a chance, and the result after the 3 week course was worth the money, he was taught all the basic skills he needs, so now I only have to build on the skills that they taught us. Really happy with the team at Kip.
A Specialist Approach to Reactivity and Aggression
Reactivity and aggression are driven by emotion, not disobedience. That's why our approach is built specifically for these behaviours. We work with what's driving your dog's reactions, at the right pace for your dog, and build the skills to make calmer behaviour stick.

We firstly assess exactly what triggers your dog
Every reactive dog has a specific trigger to behave aggressive or reactive.

We help change how your dog feels, not just how they behave
We address the root cause, rather than just trying to force behaviour change.

We help reshape how your dog sees their triggers
This one skill changes walks more than anything else.

We help over-aroused dogs learn to calm themselves
Simple exercises bring your dog's nervous system back to baseline.

We help set your dog's environment up for success
The right gear and routines stop your dog practising the wrong behaviour every day.

We help coach you for the moments that matter
You learn the handler skills to manage real situations with confidence.

Percy's Training Journey with Kip
See What Other Dog Owners Say
My miniature dachshund was very anxious and reactive. It was really difficult to take him on walks due to his reactively. We have don’t lots of different training in the past but this has been the only thing that has actually helped.
We were a bit nervous to see how Beau would go as he can be reactive to dogs but after picking him up today we are so impressed. It’s incredible to see such a huge difference in such a short amount of time!
Charlie is now so much calmer and significantly less reactive to his environment. Seeing this new version of Charlie has made every penny spent on the program absolutely worth it.
We left our 2yo dog reactive Goldie in the board and train program. It’s honestly night and day to when we dropped her off. Our regret is not finding Kip earlier in her life and leaving her with you guys.
Eldin recently came in for the Board and train program as he was reactive with other dogs and became hard for me to control when his emotional state was so high. The difference from drop off to pick up was absolutely amazing. I also now have the confidence to continue the training with the abundance of information I have to refer to.
Boss is quite reactive with noise and sudden movements. His trainer has done an amazing job, we can now walk him without leash puling, he comes when he's called his reactiveness is alot better.
Not only did my dog learn to walk more calmly on a lead, but he also became much more relaxed and less reactive in various situations. Seeing such a complete turnaround in his behavior has been nothing short of remarkable.
Those that have reactive dogs will understand that reducing your dogs threshold to triggers is incredibly challenging so being able to walk Atlas without him reacting to a person/dog across the street is an absolute win for us!

FAQs
In most cases, yes. Reactivity is driven by emotion, not disobedience, and with the right approach it can be significantly reduced. Our programs are built specifically for this, not adapted from general obedience training.
We hear this a lot. Most general training programs aren't designed for reactivity. Our approach addresses what's driving the behaviour emotionally, not just the behaviour itself.
Our standard Board and Train program runs 21 days. Some dogs with more complex behaviours benefit from a longer program of 25-30 days. Our trainers will recommend the right length after an initial assessment.
You receive a comprehensive in-person handover where you will get a chance to go over the skills your dog learnt during the program, so you feel confident continuing at home. You also get a complimentary follow-up session one month after the program, plus access to ongoing support from your trainer.
